A little tip - before you remove the old camera tie (or fix with insulating tape) string or a piece of wire to the end of the cable (a draw wire). When the old camera is removed, attach this cable to the wires of the new camera. This should help fitting as you use the attached wire to help pull the cables through so You don't have to just push from one end.

Great video - just like all of them. Even checked the fuse and power before replacing the camera as in your other video. Power was there so ordered the late 2006-2009. Only took 10 minutes to fit. Great part and great videos. Thanks.

Great replacement for my faulty camera. My dealer in Ireland quoted €575.....just for a new original part. I expect that it would have cost more than€700 with fitting.The only problem I had during the replacement was trying to remove the tiny screw that kept the original in place.....the head was severely rusted so I had to cut it out. This damaged the rubber mounting that keeps the camera in place, but as the new unit is hopefully fully waterproof, I don't expect it to be a problem. Thanks for helpful installation video. I would not have attempted the replacement without it.

Thanks a lot ! I order the new cam and it came quick and with all necessary item (fuse and little screw) which was finally very useful as the olde screw was rosted and I had to bore it.

Thanks for the info. My new camera works fine. I would suggest using a little grease on the grumets to ease them and a few bits of gaffer tape to line up side pieces of the plastic cover before trying to fix the plastic cover back. Other than that, easy even for a 75 year old :)
