Veteran film director Carlos Avila joins Dan Guerrero on the next Happy Hour of live streamed conversations. The award-winning filmmaker made his directing debut with the 2000 release of “Price of Glory” starring Jimmy Smits, Clifton Collins, Jr., and Ron Perlman. Avila later created the PBS series “Foto-Novelas” that earned a Humanitas Prize nomination and is part of the permanent collection of New York’s Museum of Television and Radio.
