Claire has an unusual request for Jo and Alison - she is determined to wear a black wedding dress for her wedding! While Jo and Alison manage to source some rare black gems from America, they also find more about Claire and her reasons behind the black dress, and suddenly more options become available.
I love these two women who help brides find their wedding dresses. You can tell they really love their job. We need more people like them in retail.

From personal experience, DHL can get stuff from Columbus to Imola in a little over 24 hours (through FarFetch) and neither of those are "major" cities

Oh my goodness... I'm Californian and after they said Claire lived in CA most of her life, I really paid attention to how she spoke, and I can hear it. I can hear the affect of our manner of speech. xD Never thought I'd hear a British-Cali mix, but I like it! I also love that dress on her, very pretty!

She looked stunning in all of the dresses. She has curves in all the right places and I loved that she owned it in the end! If we have the confidence and we feel beautiful we will look beautiful and she does all that.

Stores work with demand, if they dont bother to have certain things mostly is because there's no demand for it. One bride wanting is not enough.

I’ve noticed in these videos, they say they love different brides, and quirky requests, but they always talk the women out of the quirky requests and into something “normal”.
I imagine you cannot stock an infinite range of bridal dresses for plus size women, and so different shades of white and ivory will have the biggest variety of fits

I’m half English and half Turkish but lived in England until age 13. Hearing about her moving back and being with family and being happier than ever made me cry. I miss it a lot. I imagine going back but another country move feels overwhelming, leaving family and getting used to the way everything is done in England again. So amazing and much courage to her for doing it!
I also moved to California and have been in Oregon since then though heading back to California in a month!

I've noticed it is this show in particular that does this. There was a curvy woman who wanted a fishtail dress and they convinced her that style wasn't for her based on the fact she was curvy. 👀

@@ambershepherd2969 it would have been extremely uncomfortable for her due to her legs rubbing angains each other.
They try to look for what looks better on the brides and most of the time those preferences come from a little insecurity, they limit themselves because they think that is what would make them look skinny. If it was another reason i don't think they would be that insistent, but they take their time to find out the reasons and i think it is great!
@@aleflxr Exactly! They're not pushing their opinion on the brides, they're just trying to help them overcome the insecurities that led to those decisions - because they've been there. That's why they set up a curvy brides boutique in the first place!
If the bride in this video had tried on the ivory dress and said "no, I hate it" then I'm sure they would've gone back to what she'd originally asked for. Having three dresses sourced and sent from abroad in 48hrs (to accommodate the bride's specifications) would have been expensive! They wouldn't have done that and wasted their money if they were hellbent on forcing their will on her - they just realised her choices were based on insecurities from talking to her once she was there.
I love the way these ladies are so kind and supportive to everyone. Also I cannot keep my eyes from the pink dress in the background! 😍
This is why you DON'T take your "friends" with you when you're shopping for YOUR wedding gown. Everyone's gonna have an opinion, but the ONLY opinion that matters is your own. It's YOUR dress, who cares what everyone else thinks, wear what makes YOU feel beautiful. This is coming from someone who's been there, twice. My second marriage, I chose a dress that I can altar and wear again.
Every bride should get what she wants! Regardless of opinions. This is her day, her way💕
