This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my CZcams channel 8 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,222 subs and > 1,000 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

Just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper as a credential, doesn't mean that person is not entitled to share personal experiences with the hope & intention to inspire others. Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind or improving your life even to a slight degree each day. This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my CZcams channel about holistic health. I literally could have died back when I was 14 years old due to major depression but here I am right now replying to you, a CZcamsr, who's full of fulfillment and dedication to help others to be a better version of themselves. @Jking86 thank you! I'm actually not doing it full time yet but I recently quit nursing as I hate it and it doesn’t make me fulfilled at all. Working in a very toxic environment isn’t worth sacrificing for. I then decided to slowly dig my way out. I am now an office manager in a clinic and do creative stuff via CZcams and freelancing. It’s still a corporate job but I’m happier than working as a Nurse. I like the people I work with and they treat me with respect and as a human-being. That’s what’s more important to me. Having a sense of purpose through creating online content I truly care about also helps a lot. My freelancing gigs also give me creative outlets. I like the variety of tasks of being a manager as well as it offers tons of creativity. This job also gives me more free time for myself and I can spend some time socializing with my loved ones and meeting new folks. I couldn’t have been much happier if I didn’t start taking actions to change my life.
@@imaladywith3 Thank you! I know that there are some sacrifices involved when making certain decisions and there are always pros and cons. Including quitting a job for a better opportunity. Our intuitions can sometimes be overpowered by our logical mind and make what others call "the right decision" but not necessarily mean what feels right for you. I was trapped in a Nursing career for so many years. I was scared of wasting the years of hardships and student loans just to get to where I was so I chose to ignore my intuitions until I had enough and actually started pursuing my passion and transition into a job where people respect me. I am now part of a creative community with like-minded people and I have been enjoying it so much. The road to fulfillment ain't all sunshine and rainbows, but enjoying each step of it fuels me the most.
When I hit my 92nd birthday last month, I knew that it was time to try something new. Selling my artwork through the various social media sites was getting me nowhere, so I decided to settle on CZcams. At age 92, I think I can safely say that I know a thing or two about life. And since I was a TV director for 40 years, I feel that I'm producing, directing, being the talent, working camera and editing, with no add agency guys telling me that the butter is melting too fast on the ears of corn for the chicken commercial. OMGOODNESS!!! I am 44years old and I can relate to this video so much. I’m very creative. I’m an expert in like 3 areas and have a serious interest in quite a few (4) more. I also started out wanting to be a lawyer and going to law school that’s what I told EVERYONE, and also my desire to be an entrepreneur ALSO at an extremely early age around 15/16. My first business card at 15 was for braiding hair on the weekends and I had a pager number on that card.
I can definitely RELATE to having multiple interests and being an EXPERT in all of them 🤦🏽♀️

I haven’t been consistent with creating my personal brand, but it’s something that I’ve always wanted to do. In the last couple of years, I created a Facebook group, started a podcast, designed a journal (not published yet), and this year I was set to start a CZcams channel. I set the channel up and posted one short, but haven’t been consistent with it. I needed to hear this today. The seeds have been planted, I just have to tend to them. It’s funny because my content is all about personal growth. I’ve been putting it off because I feel like I haven’t been the best at setting a good example for my audience. But in the spirit of authenticity, personal growth is about the journey, the ups and the downs. I just need to be vulnerable enough to share my journey even if it’s not all wins. There is value in that too. Thank you for putting this message out there!! Now I am declaring to this comment section and the universe that this is my intention for 2024, starting now. For those of you struggling out there too, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!! I believe in you. We can do this and create a life we deserve!! ❤❤

I just subscribed to your channel and I'm so happy to have done it. You see I'm 69 and a lot of the videos that I watch to me is a lot of stupidity and ignorance. Also I hate to see videos with older women making videos making fools of themselves just to fit with the young generation. I'm not saying that as an older person you shouldn't have young friends because I do my point is they need to know when to move themselves out of the scene and when to be in the scene. To me when they do those stupid videos it's taking away from the younger generation respecting us. Respect I had to work hard for it. So I'm so grateful that you started this channel because you're showing all seniors are not so naive and ignorant. Again thank you so much.

Yep, me too! It reminded me of a video I watched about a CZcams guy said that he couldn't imagine the rest of his life at the job he was at. That he had to come up with something to get out of the torturous place he was at, so he started his CZcams channel. The guy is 23 - haha Almost everyone at age 23 hates their job 😂 It just struck me as funny...
This video definitely came from the Universe. As a 41 year old multifaceted creator, I’ve been struggling to not box myself in to 1 niche. This video really put some fat on my brain on what my niche should be and how to rebrand myself.

I'm 45 years old and am working on making my own work that I can to earn enough to get off disability. I found you on another podcast and CZcams suggested this video next. I'm so glad I listened. What you say makes so much sense to my neurodivergent brain. I'm going to focus on Instagram because that fits more of my personal style. I'm going to find another episode that speaks to me to listen to while I clean a couple of offices.

I’m so glad I found this. It has inspired me to change up my content a bit. Not worry so much about not being 25 and embrace my 45. We do have a different perspective and we shouldn’t have to pretend to be anything other than what we are.

At this time in my life, I have realized that time is far more valuable than money. Watching everyone around me fall into the never-ending rat race that we call life and missing the crucial opportunities with family and friends in pursuit of that meaningless effort makes me sad. I believe that my purpose is to reach out to others and give them the tools and provide learned life lessons that will guide them to true harmony with themselves. Later in life I wanted to start over but realized I had branded myself as a fashion consultant and healthy lifestyle coach.
I tried many different things after but I
only confused my self. I could not shake off my branding.
So I went back to what I did at 20.

This is so needed. I love sustainibility and fantasy. I love dressing up as characters. I love fairies, elves, nature, and anime once in awhile. I would love to do fantasy photoshoots with other youtubers. But it seems like once you hit 30 (as a woman. I'm 32), a lot of men and woman judge you harshly for those things. They assume you're selfish and immature and just living in fantasy land or that sad old bag trying to reclaim her youth. And it gets worse the older you get and then you become invisible once you hit 40. It's so scary. But maybe i'll get lucky. One can dream, i suppose.

Wow! This was absolutely timely for me! I have a small youtube channel that focuses mainly on teaching Spanish; however, from time to time, I share thoughts about being a feminine and elegant older woman. I have also partnered with a bigger content creator to discuss elegance and femininity issues from the perspective of two older women and although we get followers mostly through her hard working hustle, I need to focus on promoting that concept on my channel as well.

I just caught this podcast & I'm over the moon thrilled. I'm Psychotherapist who's had a bajilion other things in my life, a big part of who I am is my parents built a large Horse Show Facility when I was 5 years old. That was supposed to be my career, until they divorced when. I was 24 & sold the farm. I'm so stuck on personal branding, I have a terrible time trying to just get it to click but then to create a personal brand is foreign to me. I'm a Gen X'r who has found myself out of work & doing so much work to get a job. I know there's goto be a more effective way to find a job & not rip my hair out in the meantime.
