Back in the mid 1970s, my baseball coach used to drive a truck like this, same color. I remember the team piling into the back of it on the way to practice and ball games. Nice to see this truck. Man, what memories! Play ball!
This one reminds me of my father who had a 72 C10 longbed custom. We lived in Woodbridge VA and we would put a mattress in the bed and my brother, sister and myself would ride from Virginia all the way to upstate New York to see my father's parents and then over to Maine to see my mothers parents, then back down to Virginia. Of course he had a shell on the bed. Those were the good ole days for sure!
As a general rule if gas gauge is stuck on full it's the sending unit if it's stuck on empty bad gauge.
That ticking motor would drive me crazy... however, solid pickup with very few issues at a great price!
I remember when you couldn't give those trucks away....they were everywhere in the nineties
I bought a 74 in 1998 for $700.00 and everyone said I overpaid
Needs a bit of TLC but would be a good every day driver.
What is it with all these rides without torque converter covers?
Every time I see that to me is a sign that shortcuts or half assed work has been done.
Beautiful truck and a great price. Lifters....not so sure about.
This truck needs more than TLC ! Nice price, but it would have to come apart to fix. The color and trim make up for it.
Hopefully you bought it at a good price cause it definitely needs work.
Cheap to fix those trucks bring hood money I just sold my rusty 70 for $4000
😍Cool C-10 at a great PRICE!!!!👍
never understand why you would put in all that work and not hook up the passing gear I have done over lots of cars and always made sure it was right. Love the videos keep up the great work.
Wipers and other minor things that don't work. A few hours to finish up these minor things.
Nice looking yellow classic C-10 truck.
Might be an exhaust leak I didn't see any smoke coming out of the driver-side tail pipe
Big old yellow Chevy DPW truck. Good old truck still rockin.
Luv the yellow on that 69 C10 long bed too & rally rims match maybe needs a repaint by top of cab under $15k neat deal.
Damn nice truck
Love your channel and very nice truck. 67 to 72 Chevy trucks are the best. Just needs little engine work and make a great daily driver ✌️😎👍
Thanks 👍
it has the great little turbo 350 transmission underneath,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Does it have a tick?
That is a really nice C10!
Pretty cool truck
Thank you
Do the washers work on these kind of cars? Do they even have them?
If I had the money I would buy that in a minute $1000 you would have a nice truck
Yea you definitely need a new battery in it
PAPERWORK time
Jeepers Nick, what would you do if it got cold out where you are ? You wouldn’t be able to wear enough clothes to keep warm ! LoL 😝 Richie Rich from NY
Pretty cool.
Are your vehicles sold as is?
Yes
You always say if we have any thoughts about the videos put them here. This is just my opinion. For me the videos are more enjoyable when you include the back half of the test drive. The videos when you went straight into the walk around seemed incomplete. I love the channel and the work you do with these videos. But please keep the full driving portion included.
Yes I usually try and have the drive back in the videos, are you talking about the long route ?
@@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate you recently ran a couple videos that didn't include the drive back. But since you asked. I do like the long route best. Thank you for responding. I've followed your channel for about 3 years. I also follow your music channel. You're a very talented young man. If you remember . I am the one who suggested you try out for American Idol.
Nice looking 54 yr.old .😁
BOOM triple first like/view/comment🔥
Thank you very much
Oh yes its a chevy
F150 my truck
Something wrong with your flywheel it's making noise
Absolutely love this Truck !!!!✔✔✔
6 Lug on the back and 5 lug on the front.
Nice catch on the deal breaker, you have to carry 2 spares or a way to break tires down and fill them up. Guess you would want to change that 3/4 ton rear out to get better mileage. Along with the engine work it needs, might as well put an LS in it. I couldn't imagine putting this much bodywork on something and leaving it so half put together. No dust cover over the torque converter & wiper arms. You will definitely run into more stuff. Guess that's why the price is where it's at.
I'm laughing you're getting older you can tell because used to turn on the radio and say it's rocking and now he just say it's loud the radio is loud I'm laughing so hard
Lmao thats not nice
@@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate I'm sorry I was just saying because I do the same thing cuz I'm getting older and I'm a lot older than you are love your videos
