- Got a new lift kit installed on the Kawasaki Mule Pro FXR and the shocks adjusted. Giving the Mule an Overall clearance of 14 3/8" on the front and 14 1/2" on the rear. It certainly gives the Mule a new look and feel. Looking forward to loading it down with a moose this fall and testing these new improvements. Took it for a little ride up the Gronny Trail to check for blowdowns and clean up the trail using the Silky Saw BIGBOY 360. Discount Code NLGHOST10 still works until the end of 2021. A BIG Thank-you to the fine folks at GNR in Stephenville NL for Outstanding Customer Service and Pricing.

Dandy rig even better with lift kit
Lift kit will get you in a lot more places
oh yes
Newfoundland such a beautiful place and the people are friendly
Yes it sure is, I will have to produce a video Highlighting some of the scenic places I love to visit. Thanks for watching.
Absolutely beautiful. The rig looks good!.
Glad you like it!
Nice ride through the wilderness. Thanks 4 sharing. Love the lift kit.
Thanks for watching!
You have lots of work ahead of you.. nice machine bud.
Yes sir, hard to compete with the powers of Mother Nature and her affects on the land and the old roads.
This is the time of year when I work on my trails on my property & my side by side just broke down and could be in the shop for some time. Might have to do it the hard way this year...
hopefully you get your machine fixed soon
Thanks for another great video and ride along
Glad you enjoyed it
Very nice. I had my commander out a few times already. I wanted to put a lift on mine but did a few measurements and realized it would not fit through the door on my trailer. I have had lift kits and bigger tires on quads before and the clearance was great. Especially in Alberta mud . Enjoy and keep up the wonderful videos. 🙂🙂.
I was surprised the difference it made. Managed to cut all the blow-downs out of an old road and got my machine into a great fishing hole. Got a fine feed of trout last evening but forgot my camera home, so no video. Lost one trout about 3 lbs... I'll be heading out again in a few days to try and catch some more big trout.
Good looking ride.
Thanks 👍
Nice upgrade! I just put a huge light bar on mine
Right on
Not sure how you were able to do it, but that’s some very steady videography for such a rough and rugged trail.
Thanks for the ride along!
Cheers!

Glad you enjoyed it! and I never did anything, it's the new GoPro Hero 9 Black, extremely stable footage....
@@NLGhostWolf Hang on to that camera and treat her well. It’s doing a great job for you. Really good definition and the colors is pretty good on my old iPad Air.
Cheers!

Muie Sure Is Trail Ready Now, Thanks For The Ride Along, Charlie ! ATB T God Bless
It sure is
Nice machine sir. Those washouts look like they could swallow up your machine!
Those under cuts are 3+ feet deep. It's only a matter of time before the road becomes impassible, lots of maintenance required to access some of the remote places in back of home
Nice. With a set of 33" boggers itll just about keep up to my son's powerwheels 👍🤪
Oh yeah!
Those mules ate pretty nice. Had some thoughts replacing my grizzly700 with a mule so i can ride even if it rain and so
Nice to stay dry on the poor weather days. But those quads can get into some more tighter places.
Three-layer Gore-tex riding suit would be a much cheaper upgrade! But, harder to keep the moose quarters dry on the quad.
i can see why a lift kit is handy on that trail. surprised no moose were seen. bill
I will take you guys out looking for moose in the near future. Moose scouting/fishing/boil-up/SxS adventure
Looks awesome. Nice set up. What brand is your windshield?
not sure but it's solid glass. and it has been hit by 100's of alders over the last 4 years
@@NLGhostWolf 👍thanks. Looks like the kawasaki brand. Do you wish it had ventilation or could lift up?
@@oltyger8224 I have the same question.
Do you feel limited by not having a front locking differential?
Thank you for the video, I am considering between this and the FXR PRO EPS.
And the CF MOTO which is less money that the Mules but does have the front diff.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Not at all, I'm pleased with it's performance but I don't spend any time on mud-holes. I've climbed some steep hills and moved a lot of snow with it. I'm glad I got the 2" lift and adjusted the shocks. It's a different machine now. The Mule is nothing fancy, basic to a fault. But it serves my needs. If I have the money I'd get a Can-am Defender fully loaded... But on a budget, I'm happy with the mule, especially when it comes to gas mileage... Top-Notch mileage.
@@NLGhostWolf Want to say thank you for your help.
Dropped coin on the Pro-FXR today. Drove the CFMOTO 600, the MX Mule and the FXR which was head and shoulders above the others. More than I need? Most likely, but I'll never have to wonder or regret that I didn't upgrade when I had the chance.
Need some door tops and I'll be prepared for just about anything!
Thanks again for your input!
Edit to add: parts are on order and need to wait for the build, but I'm stoked!
glad to hear, you'll be happy with it I'm sure
@@NLGhostWolf Following up after re-reading your first response; did you add wheel spaces post lift?
Also, I am getting a Warn 66" plow for my unit. Any suggestions or comments from your plowing experiences?
Thanks again for your time and help.
plowing
Did it change the ride any?
Yes, but not as much as you would think. By stiffening the suspension it increased the clearance of the SxS and then with the added 2" lift kit on top of it, I was shocked to see how much more clearance it had. Now you notice bumps more, hits with a slight increase in the thump if you know what I mean. However for the speeds I drive and the places I go, I'm very happy with these changes. More audible thump when you hit a pothole but I just drive a little slower when roads conditions are poor and when you need the clearance, it's there... Gained a lot more access into areas where I shied away from in the past.
Beautiful scenery. Idk anything about what you are driving. Is it fuel powered? Sure is a nice looking vehicle.
Yes and yes, I will go and do a scenic video in the near future.
Load your Tires like a tractor. Takes most of the tippiness out. I carry a boat on the roof of my Side by side. Loaded tires helped a bunch.
Any Machine made for Canada needs the lift kit. Can-am, kawasaki, Yamaha. They all suffer from the lack of brake over angle.
yes loaded tires would be a big help
Do you find that the machine is tippier now? Did they have to put wheel spacers in also, to widen out the rear wheels for example? I have a 2" lift kit here for my Viking, but have hesitated putting it in due to it being used primarily by wife with kids as passengers due to probably a noticeable increase in tippiness.
Because I had the shocks adjusted to be stiffer I don't notice any difference but anytime you lift a vehicle the Center of Gravity has to change.
