Recycled packaging doesnt necessarily have to mean cheap packaging... especially at that price range. That is a let down.
it’s not cheap, it’s just simple. some ppl prefer simplistic packaging, imo it looks way better than a lot of packaging out there

I feel like nikkie is the perfect person to review makeup products. she's always so polite and is never mean about a product but always gives us the honest truth no matter who's product it is
I love how Nikki reviews with honesty, but she is always polite and never overly mean about it. She always seems understanding of the work that goes into making beauty products, and that others have different taste than her. I always appreciate her reviews because of this.

this brand is so up my alley. i love a soft glam, and my every day make up look is usually very subtle. occasionally i’ll do a full face/full glam, but all of these products are definitely something i’d use daily.

I actually like the packaging. It’s aesthetically pleasing and clean. I also don’t want something heavy with packaging.
I’m not an ari fan at all. And honestly with her questionable morals ab plastic surgery and cultural fishing ... anyways I genuinely love the packaging. It actually is awesome to me Ari chose sustainability over glam. Like there’s already so much garbage and so many other makeup brands filling our landfills to the brim I think this concept is really cool. The only thing is people are complaining about the price but idk I haven’t looked into it.

I don’t think people realize that Ari is usually in very simple, minimal makeup. Especially on the eyes, which explains why the shadows aren’t too dramatic, you NEVER see Ari in super metallic, glittery shadow lol Also explains the packaging, everything is her aesthetic and true to her.
I totally agree when it comes to the product itself but after years of buying and using other products by ari like her perfume, the packaging is VERY underwhelming in my opinion

My natural look is taupe eyeshadow with a dark brown eyeshadow both smoked out and a taupe lip. Its pretty much natural look is everyday neutral colours but make it grungy

quick tips: curl ur lashes for a doll eyed look and put some lip tint on ur lips, cheeks and nose😘 EXTRA POINTS: gloss and brow gel.

I feel this way with many of her choices! sometimes when she does her blush I'm also like "it's more than what I'd do" and then suddenly everything comes together and I'm like "oh nope that's just.. perfect!!" I gotta start trusting her more because she always makes it work

I was hesitant about the packaging but now I love it. It's very retro futuristic which I adore
8:54 to be fully honest, it's the type of packaging that just makes the pallete blend into its surroundings, so i'd say it looks like something I would loose really quickly, also the semi mattness of the packaging makes it look like cheap aluminum
As a minimalist when it comes to makeup, I like the packaging especially since I would keep it on my vanity.

i actually love the lipstick packaging i think the little window is great if you have more then one shade so it’s easy to see what one you’ve picked up (unlike brands like mac where there’s no way of knowing what you’ve picked up)

I really think a lot of celebrities are coming out with makeup and skin care lines as a cash grab cuz they know it works and I don’t think Ariana is an exception to that. That’s probably why the packaging is cheap. Everyone saw Rihanna get rich off of fenty beauty and wanted to hop on the band wagon in my opinion
Completely agree! Definitely a cash grab! Makeup is a multi-billion dollar industry they all just want a piece of it. Singers, actresses, all of Hollywood is coming out with makeup and skin care. I'll stick with the brands I trust!

I love how sweet you’re even with being honest. That’s much needed in our generation. The packaging looks cheap I immediately noticed that. I think she’s aiming for younger girls but she has no idea how loved she really is by woman too! Maybe she does? Despite it being recycled it could have been less young girl like. Maybe she will come out with more? I’m proud of her I think the palette colors look nice!

I’m with you on the packaging. It reminds me of the pharmacy eyeshadows my mom would use in the 90s that came with the tiny plastic applicator. Not what I expect from Ariana. Simple is always nice but simple doesn’t mean it can’t be stylish. It also doesn’t give me space. Could have really taken advantage of that concept and done something really cool.
The prodoct are recycled that is why they may feel/look lightweight ..

This packaging ( nos·tal·gia) reminds me so much of the Mary-Kate and Ashley makeup line that they used to sell in Walmart in the 2000's. I loved that makeup line sooo much!!!
The only thing I have to say is that liquid eyeshadow is usually supposed to be applied directly to the eye, rather than your hand, to a brush, to your eye. I believe that explains the pigment problem.

I love that Nikkie was so honest with her review! I love Ariana and personally I love the simpleness of the packaging and colors. This definitely helped me decide what else I want to order down the line!
I think sometimes because of how the beauty industry is, we forgot that not everyone wants heavy luxe packaging, sometimes simple is better, and not everyone wants a liquid eyeshadow which is going to be blended with a brush, some people like to just use their finger and have a subtle shimmer rather than full on glam. We forget to appreciate the minimalist side to makeup.

I really like everything about this chapter. It’s practical for people like me working in an office building where I can wear a more neutral business professional look. I know a lot of people were expecting more glitter and shine but not everyone can wear that stuff to work everyday and how often do people go out on weekends and do a more dramatic look in your 30s? This is just my opinion and what works for me in my life

As someone with short, straight, asian lashes - I feel you on the mascara portion. I highly recommend Isehan's Kiss Me Heroine mascara if you want something that will actually hold a curl up until the end of time.

The madison beer pallete is on sale for $5. All 3 of arianas eyeshadow palletes are in that 1 morphe pallete except madisons collab is actually pigmented and you don't have to spent 10 minutes on a naked eye. Lol

I loved how easily the liner marker applied and that highlighter is gorgeous! I love that color of lipstick as well.
Plus, I think that makeup look suits you amazingly. I know you love the full glam, but the tone downed look you put together is beautiful. 💖

This makeup is perfect for people barely getting into makeup, like a child getting this for christmas. It’s also perfect for people who just want something quick and easy and are much older for all that glam stuff. Her packaging expresses that very well and it also expressed the theme well too and it’s environmentally friendly which is a plus to anybody, idc how many colors you want on a packaging girl save the earth!!!!

this is going to be an unpopular opinion but i like the packaging of the glosses,, i hate when they have a wand and the content gets mixed with whatever lippie u have on🤧 for me it’s perfect

I never put the wand on the lipstick I’m wearing! It’s one of those things that drives me crazy when I see people do it lol. I swipe it into my finger and tap it on top of my lips

So, something that I love about liquid shadows as a consumer, is that I like to be able to throw them on and go. These liquid shadows really make that possible. I am a medical worker, so I leave at 5:30am and am getting home at 20:30pm. They stay on ALL DAY and they are a little pop of colour that make me feel like I tried in the morning :D
As a medical worker, I say PREACH GIRL. It's a must have for 24h shifts.

honestly, I feel like most of the products are beginner-friendly but like idk personally I wish there was more color especially cause it's a space-themed collection I just wouldn't have expected all the neutrals in this collection due to the theme. I did really like the lip and eyeliner might have to buy but the shadows and glitters were underwhelming and maybe need another mini to give that POP of color. I think it's a cute collection some of the packaging needs work just cause something is eco-friendly or recycled does not mean it has to be bland and underwhelming many brands that have the same claims have nice and creative packaging(that isn't over the top but also not just...chrom all over) that aside it does seem the actual makeup is something anyone new to make-up or that really like neutrals shades or tones would really like.
I love the packaging of the lipstick and overall this seems like an amazing launch! It is sad that not that many consumers are excited for it, but even my reaction at first was like "another celebrity makeup line" yet I thought the theme was great and so fitting to ariana. I have to say I would actually buy these products after watching this review
