- Bits of an old log house and old concrete foundation get demolished and lots of concrete crushing with a homemade jaw crusher at the end.
What is a jaw rock crusher - a crusher that has jaws and crushes rocks, concrete, bricks etc. and turns it into gravel.

You should add a rear conveyor to the crusher! Maybe a detachable or permanently fixed. This way the small rocks can be conveyed into a trailer. By the way, love your videos keep up the good work and be safe!!
Donn was watching the build again .. I am not there too see the whole thing ,, watching it work I can see the chunks moving up and down before they break ,, on your wear plates you put rerod . could you add points like a saw blade on the rod every few inches ,,teeth ,, so that it will hold the concrete in place when the plate comes in and then it can drop when busted ,, small teeth like as tall as a head of a bolt seams like the concrete did a lot of up and down before it broke ,, I am not there it might be just fine just a thought ,, just wish there was not a big pond in the way I am in NY would like too use that unit for a week or 2 lol ..
Could watch that all day! It's ASMR - Automatic Smashing and Munching of Rocks! 😂 Would also love to see the conveyor belt feeding back into the back end of the dump trailer... rocks off the front, gravel into the back, then dropping it on the trail. ...then we'll look forward to the road roller build after that! 😂 Fabulous work! 👏👏👏

You should hard face the rebar before it wears down. We use a high impact, high wear welding rod stoody 35 is the wear rods we use it’s for mining cutters. The stoody 35 rod is sold by Airgas welding supply

This is oddly satisfying to watch. The muncher just keeps asking for more, and I'll bet the resulting aggregate works great on a driveway or path. Good job!

That would be huge, not having to sit there and feed it piece by piece. Fill the hopper up and let er eat for a few hours, check on it every now and then..

A hopper to feed it would work.
Most any old foundations will have have the best materials for aggregate. Nothing synthetic. That fill is so pure.
There is just something satisfying about watching that machine maliciously munching away on old chunks of concrete!
I posted on one of your other videos about putting a bead of hard facing rod on your rebar but I'm afraid it would be too slick and not "grab" the material and pull it in. Maybe just spots of weld about 1/4 inch (6mm) apart so it had raised bumps. It does look like your rebar is losing some of its grip though. It still gets the job done though!

would mounting the axle on struts to the ground eliminate the recoil from the tires & allow more efficient crush?? looks great, always enjoy your videos!!

Its great to see all of the wood and concrete was reused from this !! A lot of jackhammer work ! Also there was some big rocks behind that concrete . That crusher sure does work nice !!👍👍Such a fine way to reuse that concrete !!

Fantastic build , jaw crushers are designed to be choked just about non stop . The weight of the next rock helps the crushing action by pushing down on the rock that is being crushed . Great engineering and I could never build anything like this . 👍

You don’t need a conveyor. Jack the crusher up and use a sheet of metal for a waste slide. Leave a space at one end of your trailer and let the waste rubble slide into the trailer as you feed the concrete into the crusher.

Now you need to make a conveyor to fit under the discharge to load into your dumper.
I wonder if something like your firewood conveyor would fit under that? Then you could load the dump trailer as you crush.
great video ..crusher works great ,, when you pulled the wall down with the jbc the big rocks that were stuck to the concrete .. I have them and a bit bigger ,,on my farm lots of rock at my place .. need a crusher that will fit your machine inside .. I think that there is enough rock too fill a semi trailer 2 times ?? I need the stone for my driveways and drain pipes .. just need to start building ,, Keep up the Great work you do DONN love the videos and ideas ,,
