I have been playing drums/percussion for about 45 years now and I am so fascinated by spoons. And it came at a great time, I'm having to learn to play differently because I have a neuromuscular disease called myasthenia gravis. The great thing is with my medication, I was able to go back to playing. One of the downsides of it is, different muscle groups will get tired and I have to let them rest while I am playing. I now play out once a month with a trio, so I will give an arm or a leg a break. Spoons will definitely give more variety to my playing, But they also just sound amazing. I really appreciate you teaching us how to play, but also I love your stories. The video you did about body image helped me more than you realize. Thanks

I appreciate what you do. Making music is so important. My great grandmother could play the comb and it always amazed me. I have never been able to figure that one out. I have been playing around with spoons for awhile myself but your technique puts me to shame. Thank you for the tutorial videos.

I have a young student with unique needs who I feel would love the unique sounds the spoons make. Any suggestions like rubber banding the handles or purchasing a similar instrument?
