      I agree! Of course, most people know that the musicians in the video didn't perform this in the studio. The musicians who actually recorded this version were 3/4 of Damn Yankees: Jack Blades, co-songwriter, bassist & back up vocalist, Tommy Shaw, co-writer, guitarist & back up vocalist & drummer Michael Cartelone. The version on EXPOSED (1993) was fine but with all due respect to the musicians he ended up hiring to become The Vince Neil Band, he should've recorded the rest of the album with Shaw, Blades & Cartelone.

    Vince has incredible songs and this is one of them. I was with Vince Neil in 1993, back when he was so gorgeous and we were together for awhile and I have to say that Vince treated me like I was the only woman important to him. He's the sweetest, most generous and thoughtful guy I've ever been with. Of course, he was into the long blonde hair and boobs which I was lucky to have. I don't regret my time with him. You're always in my heart Vince. ❤

      @@danfinkelstein7037 Vince had a lot of women in his life. I happen to be one of them. Not everyone approves of some of Vince's relationships. For the record, I am not a groupie. Vince was and is the only musician I ever been with. Once he finds someone he really likes, he stays with them. Whether it was on the road or off. He was very protective of me. Vince gets a lot of negative publicity on social media but once you get to know him he's very down to earth. People are so quick to judge.

      +Joakim Rönn Yea... It's totally Crue. Vince actually kept the Crue sound of the 80s going into the 90s, while Nikki took Motley into a completely different area with their 1994 album. I appreciate that Vince never ever left the 1980s. Vince Neil rules. That convertible limo with the hot tub in the back and the 10 babes... that was as bad-ass and 'rock star' as it gets. Member that? Well, it's in some video. It was hilarious over-the-top 'look at me' 80s style livin.

    I remember there being a few versions of this song for some reason. I could be wrong! The best version was on the Exposed album with Steve Stevens on lead guitar. He really opened up this song...that whole album was very under rated. It was really, really good! "Look in her eyes" killed!

    • @harindranvenkatesh
      @harindranvenkatesh Před 9 lety +4

      Crimson138Ghost No, you're absolutely correct. - There was a different version with Steve Stevens on the guitar - which sounded waaaaaaay better and had a killer lead - that's the one on the Exposed CD as you'd correctly stated. There was some issue with Steve appearing on the music video due to record label conflict (as far as I hear/read back in '94). Exposed was a fantastic album - great songs - unbelievably underrated band. I got my copy back in '93/'94 and then in 2005 I find a copy of the CD in a dollar store - How sad is that? (Well, I bought that as well) :)
