I was just jamming to this record today. Well... Spotify on the phone on Bluetooth. Jesus I miss the 80s! During the split Vince & Crue put out great records. Pure jam!!! But Motley ain't Motley without Vince period. Even when Tommy left it was different. I still say The Crue is the only band you can not replace anyone.
Vince was actually a talented guy back in the day - great voice and excellent on stage front man. Years of drinking, drugs and an auto crash took its toll and took a lot out of Vince. Hate to see him go though all that. Still he is one of my all time favorites.

The musicians who actually recorded this version were 3/4 of Damn Yankees: Jack Blades, co-songwriter, bassist & back up vocalist, Tommy Shaw, co-writer, guitarist & back up vocalist & drummer Michael Cartelone. The version on EXPOSED (1993) was fine but with all due respect to the musicians he ended up hiring to become The Vince Neil Band, he should've recorded the rest of the album with Shaw, Blades & Cartelone.

This was an amazing!!!! Not enough credit for this album.. If the Crue would have performed it, it would have been amazing!!! Shows that Vince didn't get enough credit or wasn't allowed to do anything within the band!!!!
Same tour, seen them in Nashville. Starwood Amphitheater, sitting on the hill. Thunderstorm in between sets and by the time Van Halen got on stage we were all soaked! LOL

Vince has incredible songs and this is one of them. I was with Vince Neil in 1993, back when he was so gorgeous and we were together for awhile and I have to say that Vince treated me like I was the only woman important to him. He's the sweetest, most generous and thoughtful guy I've ever been with. Of course, he was into the long blonde hair and boobs which I was lucky to have. I don't regret my time with him. Vince was and is the only musician I ever been with. Once he finds someone he really likes, he stays with them. Whether it was on the road or off. He was very protective of me. Vince gets a lot of negative publicity on social media but once you get to know him he's very down to earth. People are so quick to judge.

This album is actually better than any of the Mötley albums during the 90:s. Thy once said that if some one of the original memebers is fired ot would'nt be the real Crue. And ´´Motley Crue(the album)´´ and Exposed is a good example.

There was some issue with Steve appearing on the music video due to record label conflict (as far as I hear/read back in '94). Exposed was a fantastic album - great songs - unbelievably underrated band. I got my copy back in '93/'94 and then in 2005 I find a copy of the CD in a dollar store - How sad is that? (Well, I bought that as well) :)
