Amazing song. Takes me back to 1997. Being 19, working as a scaffold labourer in Guernsey. Lugging year on my shoulder to the back of a property overlooking the town harbour, in the sun, radio one, Chris Moyles, thinking about a girl I’d met. Just no stress and life all ahead of me. Reminds me to love being alive and try to make the most of it!
Saw them do this at Reading 2000. As they went into the outro, Mark Morriss started singing "People, all over the world, join hands, and form a love chain..." I thought he was a genius.
Saw them last night in Glasgow. They played a version of this called IFvery breath you take with The Police lyrics, it was hilarious... thankfully they played the proper version as well.
