Is anyone else feeling sorry towards Hoshino? From the moment he wanted in on the case to avenge Shintani I was suspicious of him. When he said he was a black belt and when the police were called on them while they were visiting shono at addc I was CONVINCED he was the mole, and spent the whole game giving him the side eye for no reason at all. Boy was I wrong. Sorry, my dude.
I was highkey suspicious of almost everyone when I played through the game LOL

hoshino was wayyy too human to be the mole. when i saw kuroiwa i instantly knew he was the mole by how he framed yagami, then stalks him for most of the game

Such a different culture where the villain having a gun is considered an insurmountable obstacle.
Which is funny since most enemies with guns (or swords) are completely harmless and hardly do any damage.
And Kuroiwa could probably take on 100+ in-game armed police officers barehanded, so it makes sense people would be scared when he's carrying a gun.
hearing my man Sugiura crying makes me wanna go through the screen and hug him, he's my favourite Judge Eyes character

I kinda find it ridiculous that even in Yakuza games (about actual Yakuza, criminals and shit) you don't ever fight cops. But here's a game about lawyers and their story is much darker - serious .
In yakuza, you get to fight criminals and bad civilians, but in judgement, you go against the fucking law

that's the entire point, while Kiryu, Majima, Saejima know well that even tough they are yakuza, they still have a strong sense of justice, leading them to fight their own "people", them being outlaws/lowlifes and etc, while in Judgement you get to deal with fighinting the system that let's people explot it
After the first Mole fight, my game glitched and showed the following cutscene in a weird floating world with the camera weirdly placed and not changing. This video saved that moment. Tyvm!

I would love a second judgment as well but obviously it would need a different lead, I feel like they totally exhausted yagami's storyline.

@@chelecovers6893 Aw but I like yagami. And I'm glad he and his ffxv homeboys are back come Sep. Maybe he'll have less of a personal stake in the next case (unless someone close to him gets murdered tho I hope they won't actually pull that one cos it'd seem too deliberate) but he's a really awesome and engaging protag. He's a lot more relatable to the everyman than Kiryu too. And a very fun and eye-catching combat style, to boot. I feel bad for peeps used to yakuza threads who find having to ogle his ass in skinny jeans uncomfortable but everything else about the game makes up for it, I feel. I sure as hell got used to it. Maybe they're not even old school denim but those Uniqlo stretchables. Can't figure out how he moves the way he does without them ripping otherwise.
I actually kinda wanna see a game where he's younger. Like in his teens. Round the time of the tragedy involving his folks.
@@vspirit well I was only assuming but if they manage to keep yagami and still come up with a great story I'll be happy. I've been a fan of kimura takuya (yagami's actor) for a long time. He's a Japanese singer as well, a member of smap if you want to see him somewhere else. You should check out some of his dramas too.

Top class game!!! The first 3 chapters or so i wasnt sure if i was going to enjoy because it was kind of dragging slowly but kept on going and happy i did, even better than some Yakuzas if im honest.
