R.I.P. Angel's Share and Village Yokocho! My two favorite places close AFTER getting through Covid 19. I'm guessing rent hikes to catch up? Both iconic East Village spots are gone after decades in the neighborhood. I live in Queens, no where near, but these were home for me!
It truly is a shame that they closed down, especially after Covid just ended. Would you mind sharing what your staple drinks there were?
Fuck really I wanted to try it out. I wish I would've gotten into cocktails years ago so I could've gone to so many bars that didn't make it through the mandates
This is art. It’s incredible how something as simple as watching a bartender make a cocktail can turn into an experience decorated gracefully by the attention to detail. This was awesome.
thank you for appreciating people skill and not through away mentality
That shiitake infused old fashioned that they served a couple of years ago was the best thing since sliced bread!
I see you are a man of exceptional taste. We respect that. :) We'd recommend that you try the Milestones, Smoke in Your Eyes and the Flirtibirdi next time.
Love how he stirred the drink with grace! Some people are able to understand the finesse it takes and apply it
Lol it's a stir it takes no skill get outta here

Such an awesome video
Thank you for the kinds words! Would you mind letting us know what kind of videos you would like seeing from us in the future?
I like it
I have to see you tonight , too late after 4 years in this neighborhood for missing to support my Japanese fellows
Love this place hit it every month or so, unfortunately it’s been super flooded with college kids
oh no...
Man I don't drink but art like this makes me want to
same here... I can but I chose not to
damn..just discovered this only to find out they're closed down..
We’re very sorry about that. One of the biggest losses in the Bar world 😢😢
R.I.P. Angel's Share
It's a real shame they had to close down after many years of providing excellent service. It will be deeply missed 💔
damn... no bartender stir with sounds. Its a normal thing
Then you must have visited a lot of highly acclaimed bars, since this is not a normal thing we've encountered so far.
We're curious, what was your favorite bar you've visited so far?
All I remember of my visit to this bar was the terrible service. I don’t remember the amazing quality of the drinks that this video portrays. I wish the service was better. If that was the case, I would’ve enjoyed the drinks a lot more.
They have VERY strict rules at this bar. And they WILL yell at you if you break their rules. I don’t think the experience was all that ceremonial because our friends and I got yelled at for whispering in an empty bar. We were the only a ones there that night.
It sounds like you we’re taught with some manners.🤔
Wow that's really unfortunate. I'd rather take my business to the dead rabbit or death in company if that's the case. Better cocktails and better service.
bet this is not how it went down at all
you are one of those karens who makes the fuss & then blame it all on them..
you are a disgrace
Dead rabbit > Angels share
Both can be good
Both are good I believe, just different styles
They were inspired partly by Angel’s Share
@@stevendinsmore-george8941 dead rabbit was inspired by Irish pubs mate, not a Japasnese bar
Right when I heard "No Martini" after 2 years I knew that the Japanese were full of bullshit!
