I Tried Blinkist App For 30 days - Honest Blinkist Review / For years, I have seen people on social media telling us what is Blinkist app and recommending it, but I never believed it could be that amazing. After all, it's just another personal development app, so I never even googled "is Blinkist good?" I preferred to read the actual books.
But now I've seen so many self-help books repeat the same stuff again and again, so I realized I needed to do something to stop wasting time. It's finally time to do a 30-day Blinkist app review to figure out how does Blinkist work and is Blinkist worth it.
This video is again another episode in my own self-care journey that I'm sharing with you guys. Hope you enjoy it!

If I can add a feedback, the app is missing a button to play all saved items... I spent hours choosing books, saving them in my library, only to realize that to listen to them I need to open one by one, or add then one by one in the listening queue 🙈
So a 'play all button' and/or ' add all to the queue' and or a select option would save so many clicks... I am thinking that's probably the biggest reason I stopped using blinkist.

I’m currently trying out Blinkist, but to be completely honest, it feels a little bit like cheating. Also, my FOMO is really high, but you reduced it, by showing that Blinkist’s summary was comparable to your in-depth one.
Still, I feel like listening to so many books in such little time reduces the value of each book, it’s less rewarding to have finally made it through.
I’m excited to see how I’ll like Blinkist in the future 😅
Thank you for the comment, Felix! 🙌 Now after a few months, I've often realized that it's so much about how well you listen: are you ready to learn or just in the "zombie" mode and having the book in the background. Reading the script & taking notes helps a lot!
I wouldn't recommend listening to one book a day, if you really want to learn and improve your life. After this 30-day experiment, I have focused so much more on quality than quantity and it has worked well! Some books I've even listened to twice. If you feel you like some summary very much, I would highly consider buying a copy of it too ✌

Oh great this is going to start the biggest generation of know it alls. If you tell someone about a book your reading to give advice, the know it all will say oh i read that book dude so i know that book so i know exactly 💯 what you mean😂
This app is good if you have read and studied and taken notes and made Q and A flash cards and memorized your flascards to at least 80 percent. then you try blinkist otherwise its just a bs app creating more narcissistic know it alls 🤣🤣🤣💯

Can you read blikist books in landscape mode? I would most likely be using my ipad and wouldnt want to take it off my Magic Keyboard

I think for real book lover then map of new publishing may help to find a real interesting book to read

Good question! They definitely gave a thought to this before launching the app and even share some of the profits with the original publishers 🙌🏼

But what genres of books are in their list? story , science , mix? which genre are more to find. Because if its is story book, for me personally is of no use to pay for that service.

Is there a monthly subscription rather than yearly one?
Good question! They do but it costs double ($13 per month) and it doesn't come with a free trial. So my recommendations would be to use my discount link in the description that includes a free trial and drops the yearly price down to $59.99. In case you don't like it, you can just cancel it before the trial ends and if you do, you will get more bang for your buck than paying $13 every month 😊 Hope this helps!

Great question! I have to admit, I haven't tried out those. To find out, I suggest first checking their selection if they have the books you would like to study and if yes, you can use the free trial to see if you like the summaries of those. If not, you can always cancel 😉

You can get 25% discount using my code that is in the description and maybe during some Black Friday they have even better deals if it's still too much. Free trials are always your friends too! At least for me the ROI has been crazy 😊
How u can be honest in a review, if u get money for linkusers?
By knowing that my reputation is more valuable than getting money. I could have made the app look so much better and disregard all the faults it has but instead I tried to be as transparent as possible. I made this video long time ago but still use and pay for Blinkist to this day so this wasn't definitely a fake review just to get money
