Armin Navabi (ex-muslim Iranian) on Atheist Republic has a MUCH more restrictive view on immigration.
It is libertarian for the government to protect its citizens from foreigners who are asking for permission to join.
Armin would bar anyone who upholds Islamic honor culture, the hijab, which makes women responsible for protecting lustful men from their own lusts and behaviors. Sharia makes it legal to beat or strike women, now some say "gently", for actual or suspected disobedience.
Armin world bar any FOREIGNERS with Anti-Liberal values, rather than allow them to establish residency and citizenship first, and THEN become radical Izlamists AFTER they have achieved demographic power and a secure foothold.

But every single Muslim is saying death to every single non-Muslim for no better reason than because we are non-Muslims, because we refuse to believe in that ridiculous religion. It is taught to them in their Koran, it is not considered extreme to have these views. It is mainstream imams teaching this, because Allah told this to Mohammed. Not a single Muslim will say these verses are not applicable to the present time, that would be considered blasphemy to them.
So since every single Muslim holds this view, every single Muslim, however self proclaimed moderate, should be seen as a potential physical threat to the well being of non-Muslims and should be kept out of non-Muslim lands. If they want to emigrate so badly because the Islamic system of governance in their countries is so appalling, they have a choice to renounce Islam and then be re-assessed.
