2:40 birds spread out their wings when they fight so it'll make more sense to draw Blaziken's new wings spread out
Maybe you should have made blazikens wings spread? It was seemingly jumping, so using it’s wings would make sense, plus it would be more aesthetically pleasing.
I absolutely love the redesign of snorlax, even as a snorlax fan. I thought it enhanced snorlax’s look and didn’t take anything away from the original concept of the Pokemon. It is also quiet adorable.

Nobody thinks Pikachu is smooth. He is based on a mouse. They are furry. He just looks smooth in the anime because his fur is really smooth but it's still there.

Zangoose, Scrafty, and Snorlax are actually incredible, I want them. I don't think it would be impossible for designs like these to appear as regional variants. And the Scyther? I was getting hyped for that, definitely wanna see it finalised.

I have made a pokemon called Soulfin(a dolphin) it is a ghost\water pokemon
Its ability is soul water which increases its ghost and water attacks

Excellent video! Your designs are great, but what I'm more impressed with is how you explained your reasoning for your design choices. It gave me an interesting look into the thought process that may go into designing Pokemon. You also honed in on different aspects that I wouldn't have thought of--particularly with Blaziken.
As a big Blaziken fan (he was my first starter and is usually who I build my competitive teams around), I've always thought his legs looked kinda weird. I get that they're supposed to look powerful, but his feet just look...like perfect circles with dinky little claws coming out the bottom--not very chicken/rooster-y. I have always wondered what he might look like if his feet looked more like Combusken's.
I love Blaziken. It looks like a good fusion with Braviary!
But Zangoose scares me now...
I like Scrafty, but Scraggy is too cute for normal. I love these

I have to say blaziken has always been one of my least favorite designed starter pokemon and those subtle changes you made to it made a world of difference i would of loved that version so much better

Loved scyther, I always resented how there is a mantis pokemon but it looks nothing like a mantis, I generally dislike when bug pokemon only have 4 limbs.
All I could think about with the Sneasel design was how the female ones already have shortened ears, lol
That Blaziken is all I’ve ever wanted. I love the first two stages of the torchic line but always felt Blaziken needed to be more chicken like for me to love him. This is a big improvement!

I feel like the Snorlax concept would have made an awesome Alolan form for Snorlax if you add the fur then make it white. Could have been an ice/normal type or something like that. Probably wouldn't have been good competitively, but would have made a great addition to the snowy mountain area in Sun/Moon.

I'm gonna disagree with you slightly on scrafty, just because he looks like he's staring into my soul and it scares me a little.
Scrafty is one of my least favourite Pokémon, but it looks better more realistic and closer to its Reptile origins.

Blaziken was not my first Pokemon (gen 1 Charmander was) but its also my favorite even to this day, even though I think its desing is a bit silly, his redesing was perfection.
I loved this! I'd love to see both more of this, and also some of the more fae/humany pokemon as more similar to their origins. Like... not Gardevoir As A Human, but Gardevoir as something that looks more like a fae princess. Or a Machamp that actually looks like a fightin' man even if still a pokemon (without the uh... capturing for fights bit).

For Blazikin I think it’s absolutely accurate to keep the fluffy feet because I know that some chicken breeds have fluffy feathered feet! We actually have a couple bantams and other chickens that have the fluffy feat/legs
