Hello and a warm welcome to this module entitled Wildlife Ecology and Management in East Africa. My name is Runyambo Irakiza and I am your lecturer for this interesting module at the University of Lay Adventist of Kigali (UNILAK).
At the end of this module, you are supposed to:
1. Describe the general concepts of wildlife conservation
2. Manage habitats and populations to change trends, and understand how to take effective action for wildlife conservation
3. Identify threatened wildlife that requires conservation priority and specialist knowledge
4. Explain the general ecology of East African wildlife communities
