C2 Session 1 - HELP! We need somebody!

Our new campaign begins with a huge disaster as the town of Greenhollow (which you may remember from our "The Birthday Party" 1 shot episode) is under attack from the fabled MEGAPEDE. The gargantuan creature is terrorizing the town and killing off its strongest heroes. Who will defend the land and the poor townsfolk who don't stand a chance against this chitinous monstrosity? It couldn't possibly be those random weirdos in the tavern that have been drinking and carousing, could it? Nah.
