I’m watching this today and it’s year 2021 and I still think this is the best sinulog base performance I’ve seen so far. From concept to props and costume suprises. This is just my opinion though

Truly the best..!!! Deserving to hold the title..! Im saying this not because im from masbate, but because compare to other contingents in SB category, the performance gives me this never ending "wow" moment.. Yes light and props are well used and executed, bonus na lang na gabie na sila nka perform because the effects were amazing sum it up with great choreography and unique theme, you will get a champion...!! Congratulations Masbate..!
and i forgot to mention the costume..!! which by the way was majestic..! and kudos sa nag kuha sa video.. i've been looking for a HQ video thanks to you.. =) two thumbs up..!

that's because theyve got more income than the other contingents check out the performances of apas or sinanduloy. just don't mind the props, but mind the dance.
Di na sasali ang MASBATE dahil nasa kulungan na ang mayor nilang durugista wala ng magagarang props led. Kawawa naman walang hiya nag hahambog lang sa props na nanggaling sa shabu ang resulta? Timbog hahaha pasalamat nalang ako kay Pres. Duterte dahil kung wala siya e marami paring hambog dito sa Sinulog 😂😂😂
mabuhay ka po!! wag mo nang pansinin yang mga nang babash po sa inyo ha!! Sobrang ganda po ng performance ng Masbate.. sa sobrang ganda, nangangamoy po yung insecurity sa nga taga ibang lugar.. dont worry Cebu loves Masbate =))
Sinulog is not about need led lights and being champion is about being pray, have fun, dancing with your holy child and a candle🙂🙂🙂

Actually, not to be biased props and lightings made it the wow factor. But the dance choreography i so so. Heavy props wont allow the dancers to execute well. But the performance is good.
Totoo, they are more focused with their costumes and props.. beautiful transitions and quick change but kulang sa sayaw.. Anyway, galing padin and proud masbateno here..😜

they are overusing the props and because of the LED lights it gave the audience with a wow factor. I think for me sinanduloy did better.

but being pildi is not a big thing sa mga taga cebu.. kung kinsa man o taga asa man ang makadaog.. cebuanos are very happy because of the performance. The grand champion is worth it 😆

basing on performance, i would say that sinanduloy performed better compared to kulturang placereno.. naa wow factor ila mga props but gubot ila sayaw.. unlike sa sinanduloy nga limpyo jud ila sayaw.. just stating my own opinion

******challenge for the big Champion-Kulturang Placereno, have hand held props using the fan and other one on the other hand, i doubt if they can be as graceful as Sinanduloy...... gubot naman gali kau nga gasalig rag kandila

You could have congratulate them for giving the best. Remember they joined the competition not just for the title but showing how we venerate the patron. So what if they used LED lights? Is it prohibited? So what if they changed their costume? Is it prohibited. If it is then you are free to slap with the guidelines and rules. They invested effort and MONEY for that and all they received negative feedbacks from Cebuanos? It is very embarrassing on how we treat TOURISTS from other cities by bashing them just because they were using those you said "was just the only thing that gave spices on their performance". They have done this for the patron and you guys cant even salute them for they gave THE BEST PERFORMANCE. Imagine they flew away from their place to here, so what would you expect? They even got fare and asking consents from the parents pf those dancers and propsmen is not easy and will just produce a lowkey and lame performance? Maybe that is the reason why they didn't join on 2017 JUST BECAUSE OF THIS BASHING. Cebuano ko pero lain kaayo mamasa sa comments with the narrow minded people. Nakakadisappoint

Sorry to give comment i think it is not proper to say Sinulog mardigras. because mardigras is a fat Tuesday festival in brazil it is a secular festival not Religious festival like Sinulog. I think it is not appropriate to use the word Mardigras in Sinulog and i am not sure but the CBCP or Cardinal Vidal encourage us cebuanos to make it as Sinulog Parade. Thank you
