There are exceptionally sound technical singers who don't tell a story, for example back ground or voice over singers who are literally pitch perfect. Entertainers and narrators are examples story tellers. That's where storytelling takes precedence.

And then Perez Hilton was spreading a gossip and accusing that Christina is copying Gaga.
Arga Satria To add onto it - Gaga tagged along with that Perez drama during the time and it practically sabotaged the entire Bionic era. It became the 2nd most illegally downloaded album that year due to people not wanting to support Bionic. Recently Gaga addressed it and noted the childish behavior and apologized but still... The damage from 2010-2012 Bionic and Lotus really killed Christina’s commercial success.
Why is that sad ?? She came and dominated the scene for along time. She doesn't need to be in the spotlight all the time. She deserves to rest and enjoy her success with her kids and husband. Don't be greedy

And although the "lip sync artists" usually have less talent, they are commercially successful due to their (or their management's) sense of what's considered HOT at the moment. People like Christina often want to showcase their vocal abilities and their range in their songs and don't focus on the catchy vibe that makes everybody dance, thus they don't sell as much.

Christina has never really cared for the 'popularity' she has always remained humble to who she is and has always stayed grounded and authentic to herself, and has never forgotten that music and her voice are her gift to the world and she will never deny us of it and will even teach others with what she can. Ugh she is in my opinion one of the last great voices of our time, she is the only one from her era to maintain her vocals so well and not dipped into the auto tune bag. I just love, adore and admire her ten fold. I feel it is almost criminal she has not received any icon or vanguard award, her contribution to music and the industry is incredible. However i don't she is too bothered by awards anymore, she is just out here doing her thing and unapologetic for the genuine incredible talented soul she is. Beauty and 'The Voice' personified.

I'm so glad for supporting an artist who does not have to lipsync. She was the vocal highlight of the event! 20 years in the business, she still got the voice! The crowd went wild when she ended the song with a very agile vocal runs. EVERYBODY WAS STANDING UP!
After this night was over... Fall on me literally jumped to #1 on iTunes within an hour. I love her so much❤️ I hopefully get to meet her in November!

It’s so sad how you never get SINGERS like this anymore on the award shows. I would have felt out of place sitting in the audience watching her after my mediocre over the top performance. I mean kudos to all the entertainers but man this is talent! Her voice is so pure and she sings from a place of truth, vulnerability, and really means what she sings. Even the imperfections are perfect in a weird way. Her voice is so soft and silky and warm and then can get up there and pierce your heart with love and happiness.

I agree Christina is legendary forever. It's sad that so much of music today that everyone's mostly just talking talking talking . and hardly any real singing anymore that it to exist. It's easy laziness work . They just add a good sound of music or beat and there's your song .and make millions so easy . The real singing is so rare today. @Geraint Jones - Mariah used to have a nice voice but not anymore, no wonder she hasn’t been nominated for a Grammy since the last decade. She lost her only talent (her voice) a long time ago.
