After 4 years The Division 2 is still a popular game with new players joining all of the time. With new content being added regularly and a year 5 planned, I thought it would be a good idea to create a new beginners guide for new and returning players. One of the issues of looter shooter games for newcomers is that they can feel VERY overwhelming if said game has been out and receiving support for years. I personally can’t get into Destiny 2 because there’s so much to do I don’t know where to begin, so I’m very happy to see these in-depth guides. Fantastic work, brother

I started playing wasn't too concerned with that was knowing where to go then when I kept hitting paywalls when I tried to go somewhere I just stopped playing.
@@santino2606 there is no pay wall only thing you pay for is DLC, Cosmetics and two weapons that aren't even that great lol...

@@doomoverlordxd4186 I've always felt Division 1 & 2 did monetization right, minus the season pass system they added in D2 but I've never liked the season pass model anyway.
Man I've been back to the division for about two months now and nobody has broken it down as clean as you have in regards of how to better prepare and build upon late game content especially the recalibration stations man you explain it so nicely where others most times expect you to know how it all works already thanks so much for the help 👍🏼

I picked up the game a couple of weeks back and was so confused about colour codes, attributes, builds etc. You are honestly the first person to explain basics so well ... True begginers guide this ... Great job mate! 👍

I got the game when it came out, grinded to 30 and never touched it again, now im returning and man there is so much new shit, this helped a bit just alot to take in from where the game started 5 years ago

Thank you…im so happy to be back…I decided to just start with the main campaign first because about a year ago I skipped to level 30 and was getting my ass handed to me so hopefully I can build my skill up again and figure out what I can solo and what I cant

I've played D2 on PS since release, stopped for a while until the NYC DLC and then finished that set of missions. But now I've started to play in season 11 TU17 and I'm traveling for the next 2 weeks, so I'm downloading on my SteamDeck.

I think the biggest deterrent this game has is the shear amount of clutter all over the place.
Like the map is a massive mess to a newer player.
The inventory UI is all over the place to someone that doesn't have 300+hours into the game.
I like the game my self but it can get a bit overwhelming and confusing for no real reason.
Best dps build for starters or even endgame, coyote mask 3 providence, fox knee pads, and named gloves petrov defence. All red build, hits well loads of crit . For skills i use fixer drone and pulse. As i use the ar kingbreaker wirh perfect flatline. For the chest piece use unbreakable and backpack vigilance.
As a returning player, the hardest thing is getting in to Heroic content. Most grind Challenging, but because the quality of drops is based off difficulty, the gear (near maxed stats on each attribute) needed can take a LONG time to get on Challenging, so the best way to move in to Heroic...is to play in Heroic to get your build at a better level, OR spend insane amounts of resources tweaking existing gear to near-max stats. And even then, you enter Heroic and die in seconds. And people are like "just put this build together to make Legendary content so easy!". Uhh huh, I'm almost max-stacked on attributes with a build and dying over and over in Heroic, how can I move to Legendary!?

@@YoungBlaze There sre different slots. One is the appearance slot and then you will have a slot for your other mod and gear dye
I m beginner . I did not like the level you sellect manually to medium or hard. How can i change it automatically? I do not want sellect it at each quests.
Press map on the bottom you will see change global difficulty to whatever you want.
Would love to start making my build, but just crashing every 5-10 minutes at the moment. Sad because it's a fun game, just plagued.
Yeah it definitely is in the beginning but the builds themselves are easy enough to farm it's maxing out/optimising the gear that sucks I just hit shade level 570 and only have like 2 maxed out builds because optimisation is dumb expensive and need so much materials and I'm pretty over the game at this point I swear this game must have lost so many players to boredom and players stuck with shit builds so just quit.
Im SHD 1500ish and playing heroic doesnt seem to get ANY easier. Could it be operator error? Sure... but cmon.

unplayable trash, crash everytime even with fix
Just started playing the game again. Game does crash quite often I like that it actually keeps you in the group. But why watch and comment on a video if you think the game is trash??
