- hook mustad 94840 size 12 to 18, thread 6/0 pale yellow, wings natural gray mallard flank, tail ginger hackle barbles, body tan color rabbit dubbing, hackle ginger and grizzly mixed.
A very beautiful classic fly. I prefer them-I enjoy their beauty. :-)

Great looking fly Hugh!! This pattern is very similar to the Dorato Hare's Ear pattern that I have been tying. If you get a chance check it out.
