Draga Porumbei Ro din ce văd pe CZcams pe canalul tău îmi place foarte mult ce faci cu porumbei în special relația ta cu porumbei. Se vede clar ca îi iubești și ei pe tine. Fa și tu un vlog cu originile porumbeilor tăi și dacă poți ceva sosiri. De la Oprea Ion Columbofilul respect maxim.

I've seen this in Jelle Jelema's strategy too. It is considered part of their natural behaviour and they need to exercise it from time to time, too and, why not, enjoy life a little bit. They definitely deserve it. I've also heard about the "no water in the loft for a day" strategy for the marathon ones, in order to force them find natural water sources and learn how to drink water during long races.

I do the "no water" every day. lol. To avoid tricho, I take the water after 1-2 hours and bring it back at the next feeding. During the hot summer days, when I release them, the ones with babies go to drink on the roof borders, they know the water collects there. Rarely, I see them flying far and going down in an area where rain water collects.
