I hope that all those people who fought hard for this anti-abortion law also fight for a better life for women and babies. Like paid maternity leave, job guarantees for young mothers, affordable child care, good health insurance, etc. etc.

I’m a retired nurse in Texas and I can’t believe we are in this horrible situation. Thank God for Mexico and these wonderful women who are willing to help other women who are now oppressed. It’s just surreal. I despise the Trump appointed SCOTUS members and the right wing politicians. Look what you have done!!! You won’t be re-elected because we are the majority!!

Baby killers quick to extinguish the life of innocents but their lives are sacred. Saw this in New York after the Socialist Democrats lit up One World Trade Center Memorial to celebrate their baby killing deeds but when death was at their doorstep they cried for protection.
It's a good thing that murder would come at a great risk and cost for the murderer.
I feel for the women who have to be afraid of jail time over a basic human right. I can't imagine how absolutely horrifying it must be. Beautiful watching the amazing solidarity of these good people though.

@@Paonporteur Roe v Wade wasn’t a law, it was court decision that even liberal justice Ruth Gunsberg originally opposed. States should be able to decide what the laws on abortion are not unelected justices. And now they can. Some states expanded it and some restricted it. Who knows? It may change. But if you actually posted more than “read the constitution” and “vote democrat” than maybe you’d have an argument. Also, if you’re not American, don’t tell me who to vote for. It’s not your country unless you want to immigrate here which you’re welcome to do if you want.

Yeah those poor women who had the choice between so many different contraception methods and so many non-fertilizing sexual practices still manage to get into unwanted pregnancies. I want to see every large business of any kind leave these states. I say we stop buying from them until they do and I say we are really loud about why we are doing it. This will only stop when it hurts the wallets of these conservative governments because it’s the only thing they care about.

Excellent explanation. In Texas we describe these advocates for the unborn as pro-birthers. Now once the baby is born these “advocates” refuse to provide them healthcare, food, shelter and a safe classroom for education. Once born, baby is on its own! Good luck kid! 🧒

Some of these abortion pills are sooo dangerous!! I‘m a doctor, and it really worries me that these pills might be the only option now for many women to end an unwanted pregnancy.
You can buy this pills in any drugstore, no need for prescription anymore, even they have special sales..
And ive seen that there are very basic ones and very expensive too, i think thr starting price is like $5 usd..
They are quite safe, ive never ever heard of complications..

If a woman experiences a miscarriage because she has an incompetent cervix is she a “baby killer”? Or if she has a placental abruption because she has preeclampsia (high blood pressure of pregnancy)?
