- The newest evolution card is the royal recruits. Once they lose their shields, they have a Prince charge that allows them to move at max speed and deal 2x their damage when they connect. We might see a shift in the meta since they only need 1 cycle to become evolved.

I love royal recruits!! I’ve never taken out of my deck I remember they were OP once because you could place them in the middle when your opponent lost a tower! And then when they cost less I think 7 and then more than 8,

I can see what Supercell is trying to do. Evolutions are for a long term development. I think they will try to give every card an evolution. We are on the worst phase though. By the time half the number of the cards has evolutions, I think shards would be easier to get. Just like when they added the Hero rarity we thought that it was only for pay to win players since you can get them easy by buying it on the shop. I just wish they could make the shards easier to obtain (like getting it from a chest) in the future.

Well to be fair the faster you get rid of the shield while they're in the back the less time your opponent has to save for a push because the Evo RR's will be far more ahead. Skarmy, guards, Royal dilevery, and ice spirit will pair very well with bomb tower.
For someone that plays royal recruits royal hogs, I see this as an absolute win

Elite level actually saved us from yearly levels, because it will take roughly 4-5 years of active grinding to max out your cards.
It only took 1 yeat to max cards from 13 to 14.
Evolutions are basically new cards

Evo knight will tank the Royal recruit charge damage since it’s similar to Prince so it may just be who can cycle to the evolution first in knight vs recruits

It looks like a fun card to play with but I’m still trying to unlock another card. With that being said man I took a break from this game & I come back to see it turned to a P2W game. In the shop it’s filled with bundles to max out all the cards to 15 for the price of 6.99 a card. So sad
