He's worked with Zack Snyder and James Wan. He was great in Watchmen. He also voiced the President in Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Absolutely. If he hadn't already played Nite Owl in Watchmen, the POTUS(in voice ONLY) in Batman V Superman:Dawn Of Justice and now Orm AKA Ocean-Master in Aquaman, I easily could have seen him as Batman(although, I guess Nite Owl kind of WAS Batman or that is, a Batman-like character in Watchmen).

If you watch Aquaman you will know that the mythos and design is very Greek like. After all, they are under the dominion of the Greek pantheon, like Wonder Woman. He was great in the movie

Patrick Wilson's an amazing actor! I've seen like 9 of his movies and he's always so different. You'd never mistake Nite Owl for Ocean Master or the slimeball in A-Team or the serial killer in Candy or Lou from Fargo.

Just the other day, I re-watched Hard Candy, one of the first movies he starred in. It reminded me just how brilliant of an actor he is. Strangely though, he doesn't look a day older than he did in that movie from 2005!

I knew I saw him in Insidious and Conjuring but when I have seen him again in Aquaman- woah! I'm still amazed at him. He's just so good looking same as I saw him first in Insidius and Conjuring. Like him and now I know he can do more than just acting- perfect! It blew my mind.
Saw him first in "Hard Candy" and I must admit, that he was absolutely great in that movie. And it takes balls to play such a role. Highly underrated actor.

Patrick is awesome as always (imho underrated as was Hugh Jackman some time ago), but that scene actually sold me on movie. It looks really badass, despite all CGI which usually ruins such action pieces. Good work director and team!

i kinda cringe whenever a fight happen involving cgi but after watching the clip i was amazed at how realistic it looked, yeah you can see the cgi obviously but it looks like they really fight underwater. bro this movie will so good i can't wait to watch it !
There is still a LOT of cgi and effects, if you try to watch the fight (not slowed down or repeat viewngs) there will be parts where it isn't, really, clear what is happening.
Bad cgi can ruin scenes. Good cgi enhances scenes.
Actually he has more resemblance with Aquaman comic book version 😁 but nonetheless it's a great movie and Jason Momoa is a badass! edit: and he is one of the actor who can play either as hero, a loveable character or villain.
Maybe Patrick Wilson was James Wan's preferred aquaman just like Patty Jenkins wanted a different Wonder Woman.
But if you're a great director, you can make any make any material look good.
