I preferred the laid back, slower pace of Caye Caulker..it felt more relaxing and idyllic. San Pedro was fun..but way more congested with golf carts and hustle/bustle. Depends on the vibe you want. I ❤ Belize!

Its not all about money Will, Could you let us know a bit about scuba diving around Belize and where the best diving can be found and associated costs. It would a;so be good to know the same information for boat fishing. Things like what seasons the fish are biting best and what you could catch and where. As I'm sure a lot of your subscribers dive and fish... Thank you .

Can you make a video about your experiences growing up in San Pedro and your thoughts on elementary schools. I want to flip the script and move my family there. I would want to rent for a year before putting down roots. Thank you, Will.
I'm coming next month and want a ton of activities like Mayan Ruins, Cave, Scuba Diving, Hiking. Chat GPT recommend San Ignacio for the first few days and then Placencia. I would like a litle night life as I'm single. Any thoughts on this? Would be great to hear back.
@@jetplane10 Thank you. What about the part of the trip? San Ignacio? I definitely want a combination of beach, nightlife, and then lots of activities.
I recommend San Pedro and then visiting some of the rest of the country. The best night life is in San Pedro. I recommend Sunset Lounge, Pedro's on Wednesday, Alure and several options.
@@WillMitchellBelize Hello my friend thank you for replying looking at something 4 star or better resort or air b-n-b for 3 people something private yet close to dinning and attractions 4 to 5 days which area do you recommend then inland resorts in the Cayo or even Belompan thank you will for your help '' enjoy your weekend
Don't alot of Americans wonder about Health department type issues at the restaurants in terms of cleanliness etc.? What do older retired people or snowbirds do in Ambergris or San Pedro in general? What advantage is there to Belize over more developed locations in Mexico, especially since the humid weather in both places is probably the same anyway?
Hi Dovy, great point and question it just might be that Belize is not for you! It really depends on what your priorities are. Belize is definitely not as good for medical as Mexico but for me it being a relatively safe English speaking country out ways just about any benefit you will come across in Mexico. Being able to communicate properly with healthcare providers, having your legal documents in English etc is a huge benefit. Amongst many other reasons so many people choose belize over Mexico! All that being said everyone is different and I recommend choosing what fits you best 😄

I would like to buy a condo two bedrooms, two bathrooms, minimum size 800 ft.² or a property in Belize close to the ocean. I like swimming close to sidewalks I do a lot of walking 8 km a day on average dad and 12 km cycling I am very healthy person. What’s your advice and what do you recommend? Thank you. Mohamad

Mexico is very different, if you were on the ground you would see it straight away
