I haven't stopped thinking about this cabinet since you shared it. Everything about it is a masterpiece. The cabinet, the journey, the documentation. Bravo, my dude!
Thank you so much!
❤❤
I guess the youtube algorithm finally cracked, and has allowed me and many others to witness the making of this beautiful masterpiece. Glad i was able to watch this
A year late, thx youtube algorithm. This is by far one of the best woodwoking video i've seen in a long time.
The final result is outstanding, but god damn filming and editing was as good 😮
Wow, speechless
Better late than never! Thanks!
Of all the woodworking channels I religiously watch, I can't believe I've never seen your channel before. I'm blown away in just the first 10 min. I know what I'm binge watching this weekend! Everything you make is absolutely gorgeous!
I know, right?!? I watch so many amazing woodworking channels. I can't believe this one had never been recommended to me until today. I'm absolutely gobsmacked at how amazing his work is.
@@funkypunkypine you mean amazingly boring right? So many better woodworkers out there.
couldn't bring myself to watch the whole thing, does he mention his website says he sold that piece for 12k... Just a DIY artist with millions of dollars in equipment doe...
Fantastic. You've done one impossible task: Not the bending, not the choosing of different wood colors, not the lining. But the marriage of modern and retro all using natural materials. That's hard. It's just that I'm a mere mortal man and can't afford this. Otherwise I'd buy this in an instant.
The algorithm was hard at work these last couple of days. I see a lot of us have just recently found your channel. This is the only video I've watched so far but I can't even wrap my head around and how amazing your work is. I will be binging your videos over the next few days.
I have absolutely no idea why CZcams showed me this, but I'm glad it did. That is one outstandingly beautiful piece of art. Simply stunning!
Absolutely AMAZING, not just the cabinet and the amount of details, the video editing and music are spot on.
I think the curved and flared base really put this thing over the top. Such a great design detail. Well done Blake.
Thanks John!
This has to be the most beautiful piece of furniture I've ever seen. I was mesmerized the entre way through - the design of the piece itself along with your detailed footage, editing, and music choices made it a joy to watch come together. Incredible work.
Right?! I kept thinking - how lucky will be that person who will own it! That's a whole damn family heirloom right there! Absolutely gorgeous and precious, and I hope it will be well taken care of for generations 🤎🤎🤎
I watch a lot of woodworking videos, but this build is the most beautiful one I’ve ever seen.
Speechless, this is an heirloom. I am so in love. That colour explosion during the waxing/oiling...chef's kiss!
As a former display carpenter and furniture maker, I can say that this is incredibly beautiful, I respect your talent, as well as the timeless art deco styling, and I would love to own one, or several applications of this, in my home. Well done, and cheers.
My fortune in life , becoming aware of your talents, willingness to share, calmness in explaining, humor, or is it an expression of humility? Regardless, I found you yesterday!!!🎉 watching you on binge!!!😂😂😂
Thank you!
The editing alone in this video is stunning, let alone the actual project! I love how you synced footage to the music; it added a whole new layer of satisfaction on top of the visuals. And that cabinet is just gorgeous!!
You create beautiful works of art not only in your woodwork, but also in your videos. I was genuinely moved towards the end by how masterfully you captured a masterfully done cabinet. You just earned yourself a subscriber~!
I rarely see modern made furniture that hits the spot quite like mid-century design furniture does, when it comes to balance in form. I find that a lot of what is made nowadays is lacking harmony. But this, sir.... This is absolutely amasing and is so pleasing to my eye!! I hope others will agree. Well done!
That's easily the nicest wine cabinet I've ever seen.
This is the kind of artistry, love and craftsmanship that goes into building a portal to Narnia.
I must say, everything in your production of this video is just superb. Music, camera, lights, execution. The Woodwork is out of this world, absolutely gorgeous!
Keep up the good work!
This is, hands down, the best woodworking video I have seen. Just the sheer organization, execution, and that final door close… 😙👌✨
This is so freaking beautiful. This whole project was such a emotional journey. I don’t care at the fact that I’m being dramatic. This is just pure art
Flamed maple is just the most gorgeous looking wood ever. It's no wonder they use it so frequently in guitar tops and necks.
This is one of the most gorgeous pieces of craftsmanship I have ever seen. Thank you for creating such fine work.
So much thoughtful technical execution. Your precision in the piece and the edit makes me want to be a better person. Beautiful job man! 🌈 I’ll bet Kat’s over the rainbow excited to see this one finished too 👏
Haha thanks Nick! Yeah as soon as I designed it her response was "YOU'D BETTER MAKE ME ONE TOO!"
i would never thought that i would rationalize spending $12000 on a furniture but this one deserves it. well done sir. every detail deserves a praise. thank you also for documenting and sharing.
Thank you!
My goodness, what a masterpiece. Also probably one of the most beautifully produced woodworking videos I’ve ever watched. You’ve a lot to be proud of, incredible work!
And after four months of work? Basically a steal
Wow the algorithm just pushed this to me…beautiful! And love your music compilation- you spend a lot of time putting together the perfect audio files to augment your beautiful woodwork.
Simply amazing.. I’m glad that the algorithm finally decided to share your channel with me.
Such a piece belongs in a place of worship!
Everything about this video as a collective is a piece of art!!
Phenomenal job mate 🇦🇺
Thank you!
This looks cool, almost like it’s straight out of the 80’s. Like, I wouldn’t be surprised if I opened one of the doors and all I saw was Beatles records and psychedelic artwork. It also looks like a jukebox.
So beautiful. I'm glad you went with the full circle. A happystance.
Simply incredible.... Your woodworking, the video editing and the sound editing. Just. Wow. Blown away.
LOVE your work Blake! Never stop!
the most beautiful cabinet i've seen anyone make on youtube. absolute masterpiece. Kudos to your talent and storytelling!
My jaw is on the floor, your level of dedication and artistry is so inspiring. Bravo sir 👏👏👏
All I can say to the wood bending is, WOW. Just WOW.
I watch quite a few wood working channels, I love wood working myself, and this is the first time it's come to my feed. I am astounded by the level of craftsmanship and detail it took to do this work. This is one of the most beautiful projects I think I've seen. This is a masterpiece, and I don't say that lightly.
Not only you are a first class designer, but your woodworking skills are simply jaw-dropping. This cabinet really is a work of art and given the amount of work and precious woods that it took to make it, it is worth every penny you ask for it.
Thank you!
How does this channel not have more subs? Brb gonna binge your entire channel. Absolutely incredible work
One of the best woodworking projects I have ever seen!
so glad i found this! at many moments throughout the video i found myself thinking “wow thats smart”
and to witness the heartfelt labor documented throughout the months. what a treat. thank you for this
My favorite build video I have seen in a long time. Stunning work and great storytelling and videography too. Wonderful!
Thank you!
Theres a simple tool that jewelers use. It’s a board with a V cut into it. It’s used to support material whilst cutting with a saw. Easy to make and just clamps to the workbench when needed.
Love the videos.
Your channel is so underrated for the masterpieces you create! I wish your channel all the success!
The drinking straw hack was MacGyver level! 👏
Thank you!
No words can properly express how stunning this piece is. And filming that time lapse over a month was definitely worth it
Thank you Johnny!
So many different types of mastery in one video. Speechless!
Protip for the hole saw: score the hole with the hole saw, then use a smaller bit (e.g. a Forstner or spade bit) to drill a hole inside that just touches the border of the hole saw. This gives somewhere for the sawdust to go instead of getting clogged up and burning it. This makes the hole much cleaner, the hole drills much more quickly, and your hole saws last a lot longer.
This should have over a millions views but YT algorithm cannot differentiate between a masterpiece and clickbait. Shame phenomenal work W
Thank you!
I watch a lot of woodworking videos. How I just found this is a travesty. Best vibe and edit out there. Super amazing work. Keep going if I just found you then you just hit the algorithm. In a month youll have 10x views hopefully
I hope so! Thank you!
Wow! That is one of the coolest builds I've seen! That is an amazing piece. Well done. I envy people with that level of patience!
That’s freaking AMAZING. I’m speechless WTF 😂😂😂😂 the whole time watching I just kept shouting ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? 😮😮😮
I was wondering when you were going to show us your next piece of wood art. I think it was worth the wait. What a beautiful piece of furniture. Very well done, Blake.
Thank you!
Everything about this is amazing, can't find the words to convey how much I love everything about this. Congratulations on a beautiful piece of furniture, truly inspiring
Thank you so much!
Love the attention to detail and relentless work ethic! Awesome craftsmanship, my friend!
I'm new to the channel and a subscriber but I just wanted to say how impressed I am with your work and attention to detail! The way you prepare everything is so meticulous, I'm looking forward to watching your catalogue of videos, keep up the phenomenal work mate 👏
This is the most beautiful piece of furniture I've ever seen, wish I could afford it. Great work, as always! 👌🏻
Thank you!
This is amazing, and made my weekend to watch this creation. You are an evil genius, Blake. I'm always shifting between being amazed at your skill, and amazed at how you solve tricky problems to accomplish what you want to do. I noticed you used your table saw to cut all those strips - how painful was it to watch about half that beautiful wood turn to sawdust? I don't think there's a better way, but I just sat here going, "Aw, damn." Laughed at 'Festool mallet.'
Last: you alluded to your kid in the intro - I hope everything is okay.
Thank you so much! Yes everything is ok.
My dad is a former woodworker, that has since gone blind in one eye, so he can't build things like he used to. I watch these types of videos for entertainment purposes only, but I shared it with him, because this is truly beautiful and so well done. This is absolutely gorgeous and it was so interesting to watch your thought process throughout the video. Im thoroughly impressed and wish i could do more than like and share this!
Absolutely stunning but, enormous effort and talent do not always make sense. I say again, magnificent !
This is an absolutely beautiful piece of work, every detail has been thought through, it's nice that you shared it with us, greetings from Germany
The cabinet is stunning, ty CZcams algorithms! Much love to your rainbow child! I hope that all the joy and love in the world come their way and that they are shielded from the hardships of this polarised world.
The piece and the video are truly stunning, this is a new high water mark for craftsmanship
This would make a beautiful record cabinet
I love this masterpiece so much... I'll never get over this and can't ever forget about this cabinet till my hole life
Absolutely beautiful.
The Jig father ! Amazing work 👏🏻
That is so beautiful! I really enjoyed this video. Love the wine rack idea at the end. Maybe put in a little rack on the inside of the door that will fit between the bottles for a wine opener and stoppers? But that was just an after thought when I saw the beautiful fit. Amazing!
Wow, this was just…. wow.
I’d use blacked oak for the body, to let the door feature pop out completely, but that’s just my personal preference.. but this was just simply amazing
Amazing - every step was “oh no if he buggers this up it’s all ruined” so a 44min video had me on the edge of my seat!
Thank you!
Wow! This is the most beautiful cabinet I have ever seen. I may have even shed a tear.
From the thumbnail image, I assumed this was a small table top lamp or something. I had no idea it was so large. Very cool!
Thanks!
Cant believe this video hasn’t appeared on my yt feed, this was some marvellous craftsmanship. Truly a labor of love
Que hermoso resultado gracias a la habilidad, y sobre todo a la paciencia para elaborar esta joya de mueble.....mis respetos y felicitaciones. Saludos desde San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora. Mex. Frontera con San Luis, Arizona. USA......Un abrazo.
My mind just got blown! The design, the craftsmanship the finnish and acuracy is just impecable. I found my self going"Aahhhhh" more than once!
What a masterpiece! I legit got emotional on the reveal.
This is the most sponsors I've seen in one video. Also the cabinet is the most beautiful wood cabinet I've ever seen.
This is one of the coolest woodworking projects I’ve ever seen!
The video and cabinet were masterfully made. Function and form perfectly combined.
Looks like an old timey radio and I love it!
Your single car garage seems to be a door to Narnia. It is truly magical what you produce in such a limited space. Your talent obviously doesn't end at woodwork. The production of your videos is equally stunning. If you are that talented as a firefighter, I would say the community you serve is in very capable hands. Please keep the videos coming.
This has to be the most beautiful piece of work I've ever seen!! Awesome!
Hey buddy, I put this on in the background while I work, but it's so good and so distracting that I'm not getting anything done. Thanks a lot :P
Just stunning. You are so creative! These are heirloom quality pieces, every one.
whoever purchased the cabinet bought both the cabinet and a masterpiece of a video documenting not only how long it took but also how he did it. that thing is a breathtaking piece of art. congratulations!
$12,000 was not enough! 🤔😳 WOW!😍
man, I just entered to your website and saw you sold this for 12.000. At first it seemed too much, but the level of detail and attention you put in that made me regret my first thought.
Holy Canadian Sunset! Well done! (look up 1970s Canadian Sunset sheets)
My god,Why arent you in the millions, for subs! As a woodworker myself, what you achieved while filming/editing, is Just inspirational! NOW, AS IT HITS 703 EASTERN TIME,i have to inspiration to start carving my huge 5 drawer Bombe chest! 12/4 figured mahogany honduran,So thank you! Made my morning
20/10 for everything you've done here!!
I'm literally in awe over this entire process. How much time, effort and thought went in to this. It's so beautiful. You truly have a gift.
you just blew my mind, so awesome so beautiful. you make me want to dust off my table saw, and see what i can do. love it.
Blake, your imagination, creativity, craftsmanship, photography and editing are unsurpassed anywhere on YT. Thank you!
This is a masterwork.
Cinematography, narration, planning, passion, sound, and above all wood working.
Bravo, bravo.
Loving the Dino shrine at @21.54
You should be designing and building high end audio speaker cabinets for some audio brands. Really cool work. Congrats
Давно искал что-то похожее. И вот оно ваше видео. Весь процесс на одном дыхании. Очень интересно. Хочу сделать что-то подобное. Снимаю перед вами шляпу. Вы большой профисионал! Удачи!!!
I'm only half way through the video but I am still glued to it, maybe a little pun, but this video is really good!
Not a wood worker here. Don't have to be to recognize a master. You make it look like ballet. Thank you so much for this video. Who got the cabinet?
I don't know why but using the straw to clean the excess glue blew my mind!
