For years I had a temperature of 37.7 and a resting heart rate of 115+. Told by G.I. I couldn’t have UC. They said I had to have active, ongoing bleeding. I was seen at 2 major Toronto hospitals by a so-called top G.I. doctors. The current GI situation is ridiculous. There’s a lot of gaslighting for patients. No wonder a lot of them give up.

My sister has colitis and her symptoms were so bad she didn't want to leave the house. So one day she just decided to drink alot of water and in two days her symptoms were gone. This is the absolute truth

It is an inflammatory disease limited to the colon and affecting only mucosa and sub
mucosa which begins within the rectum and extends to a variable proximal level .

I appreciate everything you do, but I don’t agree with all of it. Surgeons see a patient, see the problem, cut it out, go to the bank, and everything is great! You don’t see the patient 1,2,3+ years down the road and see the effects of your surgery. Plus what happens when a cure for UC is discovered? I do agree with biologic therapy. It’s the only thing that has worked for me.
I’ve had UC for 15 years and it’s finally under control.

I had more than 20 bowel movement a day , and lost about 9 pounds within two weeks and pulse rate up to 120. I was given nothing in hospital but liquid for dehydration. I recovered after three weeks and even before I see the gastroenterologist. I have never taken any medicines of what he is talking about. I think every thing about diet and SIBO.
What really makes my eyes rolling. why every doctor wants to have different theory and refuse others. We are in 2020; it is much easier one million times to do literature review and more comprehensive understanding to the problem. Puzzle will never be solved, unless all pieces are put together.

The problem with the medical community is they do not listen to there patience because Drs do not want to take responsibility for prescribing bad pharmaceuticals. Pharma are not meant to be given long term and this is a huge hazard. Pharma are important short term. See a naturopath and find a Dr. Who actually listens. Closed mindedness does not save lives but looking at the whole person does. Autoimmune disease can absolutely be treated by natural medicine and looking at the whole patient not just a quick fix by drugs and surgeries. Its disturbing they dont teach whole medicine in school.
