I hope Chandler has an answer for Gaethje’s low kicks. His stance is so wide.
Finally someone other then myself who noticed how susceptible Chandler is to those! It’s a great fight but like you I think those could be a deciding factor. Even in his first two UFC fights he got damaged by single leg kicks (go back and watch his face after Hooker lands his first and Oliveira swept him to the ground with one of his).
Movement, in and out, Chandler was able to avoid Primus’ leg kicks by hopping in and out
He seemed to have stuffed Primus' on their last outing together quite well. 🤞🏻
@@Theodore_VII It’s going to be much harder for Chandler to evade Gaethje’s leg kicks with pure footwork. He has much better timing than Primus.

Them boys can fight! Brent is amazing on the ground. Both are really good and should be proud of that battle! If I had to lose a title, I would rather it be a knock down drag out with a class act like Brent that some jerk. I'm really impressed with both and I've trained fighters for years in my old life. Kinda cool that Bellator is running Chandler promo for UFC. It's their material, and pretty sure the licensing doesn't allow ESPN or UFC to use it beyond couple seconds clips. UFC owes you guys a good back scratch. I thought Primus has a fight coming up soon, so it seems weird to show the fight against Chandler where he lost. The more I think about it, you really did a solid for UFC. I hope this fellowship will someday extend to having multi-promotion Champions like boxing does.

This fight happened sometime in December 2018 and it's the fight from which I started following Chandler's fights, I knew who he was before of course, and it's the fight that made me believe he would be Khabib's toughest fight because he seems to have a spirit and toughness like very few in his division, whilst also having supreme explosiveness, the most power out of the UFC lightweights from what it seems, and the wrestling endurance.

Justin is a whole other type of toughness, I don't think Michael can man-handle him like he did Brent in this meeting. Justin has improved to where he's not as reckless as he used to be. Both guys are super well rounded and can throw heat, both have fought the toughest competition, both have the heart of a champion even though only one has been a champ. No bets here, I just want to see it go down!

good job overcoming and at least eventually finding answers for maybe even just about everything on michael's part.. he even perhaps developed a notable bounce strut (sone single back and forth motion in succession) somewhat soon after the fight started. you couldn't rule out brent's jui-jit-sui though... even late in the bout, amidst the moments that he had.
What a fight.....and I think that big John and Goldie are the best announcers of all
