I love watching them skate. If there is such a thing as coming back after death, I’d like to come back being a more coordinated person. I tried to skate when I was young and I could never quite get to not fall down. I could dance and I could ride a bike like crazy but I couldn’t seem to be coordinated enough to skate like I wanted.

I was a roller girl plus minus 43 years ago lol. I love roller skating. I'm 55 now. I tried it again a while ago. Got the hang of it even after falling a couple of times. Love it.❤
Still is and booming more than ever. I just got back into skating and with the help of my instructor I'm learning more ...I will be on the groove like these pros soon 🙂💕🛼🛼💕

In the late 70s, early 80s, the skating rink was absolutely packed. In Raleigh, N.C., we also had teenage nightclubs. The age limit was 13 to 21 years of age. Once you turned 21, you had to go the grown-up version. I remember being at a place called Julian's in Raleigh the night the Thriller video and album debuted! Some great times.
Man this brings back such a rush of memories from the good old days...it also reminds me of the days of paying for all my custom skates... multiple pairs...thousands of dollars and the hours and hours of practice through the week just so I wear all tight for Friday and Saturday's night skates...real talk...🚫🧢
