Suzuki Grand Vitara Gets Upgraded TRAIL TOUGH Transfer Case & ASFIR Skid Plates

Our Suzuki Grand Vitara needed a transfer case upgrade. Somehow the old transfer case got locked up in four wheel drive during the body and suspension lift. Since we were doing all these upgrades, might as well add a couple thick aluminum skid plates from ASFIR to protect the undercarriage from damage.
The transfer case we got can't be ordered off the Trail Tough website. We had to call and ask if they had one available or if we needed to send in our core. We upgraded to the gears listed below.

Skid plates ordered from ASFIR and came direct from Israel. Shipping only took about two weeks.

Love the Suzuki build. I just bought one a couple weeks ago. Put a 2" body lift in and a 2" suspension lift. Just received the 3.0 gears from trail tough, I'll be tearin into that soon. 1500 bucks for a rebuilt transfer case with low gears is a great deal. Looking forward to your progress.

@@jensentime2496 just a cheap one off of eBay, nothing special. This is my first Suzuki. I've had a pile of Toyotas and still do, just wanted to try something a little different. This one is the XL7, I didn't know there would be a few differences than the gv, it was cheap and I'll make it work.
