I like the tonal change of arceus. In past games they said pokemon are our friends and partners. In this game they’re treated as wild animals that could be dangerous and treated with respect. Very realistic i like that alot
bdsp has made a couple of really nice graphical improvements! the underground looks like it's a lot more versatile and the customization looks sick, plus following pokemon is POG plus those new hisuian forms are SO DOPE MATE. SO GLAD BASCULIN AND STANTLER who are often overlooked are GETTING MORE LOVE
Glad that pokemon that deserve to be overlooked getting something cool (not that stantler is bad but really boring compared to the pokedex so its nice seeing it get attention)
@@pokelover1743 Seems they are doing the mega evolution thing in a different way. Giving existing mons new traditional permanent evolutions. Now lets just hope they add a good ton of them and they also include this stuff in BDSP engame.
@@mikev8746 I think the entire purpose for regional forms was supposed to be a more balanced version of megas, with weaker Pokémon and non-3 stage evolutions getting new evolutions to make them more viable.
I was expecting some older Pokemon to get evolutions in either BDSP or Arceus but i didnt think something Like Basculin would get one, i thought only some Pokemon from Gen 1-3 would get that

It's entirely possible there might not be a villain at all. It might be that the Pokedex is mandatory for the story in Arceus, and once you've finished it, maybe the game will end with the development of Hisui into industrialized Sinnoh?
As one who enjoys soundtracks way more than one should, I am going crazy over the Legends Arceus soundtrack. Not to mention the bop in the BDDP trailer. God I can’t wait.
I honestly wasn't a fan of the remake but after this direct I'm not sure if they changed something but it hits differently and I totally want to get it. Not to mention legends which is 100% the star of the show, man it would be so great if I knew nothing about pokemon cause filling in that "pokedex" seems fun as you have to discover stuff about the pokemon and it's evolutions on your own.

I'm just really impressed how much they salvaged bdsp imo. Following Pokemon? Hell yeah sign me in. Beautiful graphics and clean textures/blur? That's the good stuff. Underground with over-world sprites? THAT'S THE SHIT! Legends looks same as before, just better fps. Nevertheless looking forward to it.
Same! Diamond and Platinum were my first games as a kid, so those are so nostalgic and so long awaited for me, and they're looking really awesome! I'd held off from buying a Switch until now due to the cost but I'll get a second-hand Switch Lite and grab both games when they come out😁
I find it a godsend, I always hated his hat. You can now take it off, the only pokemon game i normally took dawn(the girl), just because i really disliked lucas his hat.

If you hadnt seen or realized, the new growlithe form is pretty derivative of the beta gold/silver pre evolution of growlithe that was scrapped. Awesome to see another mon saved from the cutting room floor!
Anyone who didn’t play the d/p originals are annoyed it looks basic but it’s as close to the original graphics as it can be. Such a nostalgia trip for anyone who played the originals.
The grafics didn't look as good but now they improved a lot and showed us more stuff. I never played d/p but i am definitely hyped because of the improvement.
We've been hearing since Gen 1 that is dangerous to go into tall grass without a Pokemon. In Legend Arceus I think we're finally gonna see how dangerous it can be for the trainer.
The hands finally look accurate for a chibi! They fixed the freaky looking oversized hands! Now I think I'll buy it. The chibi models were fixed to accurate chibi proportions. And I was never against chibi TTar, I was against the creepy design they originally used. These are accurate chibi proportions now. They actually listened to us!
With the official release of Hisuian forms There's a chance that we might see never been seen before extinct pokemon on their prime. Oh and possibly a true form and complete form of fossil pokemon.

@@alexhenar657 1. Customisation is still a new feature, whether it affects the gameplay or not, as it was not in DP. 2. I was talking about Pokémon not in the DP Pokédex like the regional evolutions and Pokémon like Houndoom being available. I guess since the second one is a Platinum feature being put into DP it technically isn’t a new feature as it was already in a Sinnoh game, but the first point still stands.

Same! The remakes look so cute and polished, there's a lot of love behind them. I'm just hoping that the battle frontier doesn't get left behind, it's my only concern about the game.
They did not show the final evolutions of the starter Pokémon in BDSP or Cinthia's Garchomp. This really makes me believe that the next trailer is going to release megas because they will be showing off the rest of the game with the Pokémon league and her as well. They aren't going to remove fairy types because they legit forced them into the game so they would either have to take them out to not have megas or they would have to change some Pokémon in Cynthia's team and that's incredibly unlikely. Her Spiritomb and Garchomp are the most iconic members of her team so they are not going to remove them. This makes megas look highly likely unless they decide to remove fairy typing but as I said they didn't force them into the games just to remove them for a remake when they have been in remakes already like in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Ontop of the lack of information on the new Arceus game they are destined to release one last trailer for BDSP before it releases that shows us the rest. The leakes we have gotten months ago show that there is a mega garchomp being planned to be used for marketing for BDSP and they didnt show Cynthia's Garchomp so if that leak is true they may be hiding it for the reveal in the final trailer. I have high hopes for this because pokemon is being more shady then usual about the advertising in this game, and I believe its to get people hyped for the final trailer that releases what everyone has been desperate to see: Cynthia's Mega Garchomp.

Maybe, but ecologically speaking, some species will die out when their habitat is used for human construction and such. When the Simon region developed and cities expanded, some Pokemon maybe could not survive anymore-not necessarily just from a change in the climate.
The world becoming warmer def could've cause the change in Growlithe because its fur coat is to keep the cold away, so as the world gets hotter, it shed its outer coat. For Wyrdeer, it's probably from modernization. If the environment becomes less harsh, then it has less of a reason to evolve. A potentially more tragic reason is overhunting, because its dex entry says that its prized for the fur on its beard and legs. Basculegion... I actually have no idea, maybe the Basculin mortality rate went down. For Hisuian Braviary, it could've migrated somewhere else like other types of birds? Idk, those are just my theories.
It's a common issue with games but with pokemon there's also a lot of broken trust from Sword and Shield actually looking as bad as they did in early footage. If they keep improving from here people are likely to be more comfortable trusting things to get better from trailer to release again.
Honestly this is so exciting for someone who started with DP😍 Gonna relive the nostalgia with BDSP, and I'll love the extra lore with Legends + it's stunning and the action element looks fantastic. I'm also so glad they kept and improved the underground in BDSP + added Pokemon following us😍 Music sounded great as well! And thanks for the vid Tyranitar, was fun to get your hilarious comments at the same time😁
I'd be fine if it WAS another remake because the next ones to be remade would be Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness. (Dunno if they'd add Explorers of Sky to that) and those were the best games of the Mystery Dungeon series. Plus seeing that "Primal" Dialga in 3D would be cool.

The graphics of legends arceus are all over the place man. Some of it looks great, then you see the snow area and its pretty jarring. I swear to god i got tree whiplash with some of the models looking really nice and others looking improperly shaded. He new for,s and character models are great though. Combat and gameplay seem interesting aswell. I really want to love this and i really hope it looks a bit more consistent on release but i doubt it will
If we’re being honest here from a developing standpoint to get a trailer out I’m almost certain they focused their energy on the Pokémon and character models and after they will continue to develop the scenery and world as it has improved as we can see compared to the first reveal trailer
This game changed a lot in 6 months from having no NPCs and frame rate issues and Pokemon just standing still to getting a full blown overhaul I think they will be able to fix that as they did with BDSP
They wont rest, more complaining gives more results that's how things improve and Pokémon deserves the best. Now you get Pokémon following you in BDSP.

The Sinnoh map on the BDSP website sadly confims there will be no Battle Frontier. Probably just the Battle Tower from Diamond & Pearl. It also shows that the Pal Park is in the game. Kind of interested how they implemented that. The trailer and the map also show that the casino in Veilstone got replaced with the character customization building. While character customization is nice, it's also pretty sad we didn't get a new minigame to replace the casino.
Yeah, I agree with the Game Corner ^^' It's sad we probably won't get a remix of the music that played there, but that's alright! I'm really, really happy about these games

So what I gathered from all of this, is that ILCA really touched up alot of BDSP, unfortunately it seems to be just a remaster rather than a remake, but we figured that for awhile. But my god does Legends Arceus look amazing, the new forms, the rpg elements, like TTAR said, Arceus is probably getting the best pokemon game in awhile.

The whole concept of megas and the complete national dex in those games really elevated it. I mean BDSP can still include a sizable if not complete dex. They could still include original megas. And if they reveal the inclusion of these Legends Arceus regional/evolution forms it could still make things feel fresh. At least if there are enough of those forms and not just like eight of them. But yeah the approach feels different already. So definitely bittersweet to see the truth behind these games now
All I got to say is that I've been impressed with the pokemon present today will be picking both games. But the one that caught my attention is the people/"fans" have been mad quiet like they appreciate the trailer. Compared to the first trailer I know I should ignore them but why waste your time complaining when they haven't shown you much. I feel like without megas/primal, some new dlc, or post game story like Rayquaza they haven't fumbled the bag yet. Idk it's just me but I'm excited that we get to walk with pokemon again and relieve gen 4 with better graphic and the nostalgic.
It was a decent premiere overall. However we are still unsure if bdsp is more of a remake or a remaster and if pokemon legends arceus is just catching pokemon bringing them back and doing this for 5 hours... I remain hopeful, the new forms/evolutions look great, and you can tell they put in work in order to make bdsp look more appealing, following pokemon is also nice. So I am still undecided as of how good the gamed will be.
Even as a remake, this is looking quite good. Honestly, it hit my nostalgia harder than it would have if it hadn’t had custom battlegrounds for specific encounters and if it didn’t use the chibi artstyle. They’ve done really quite well so far.

What do you mean? There aren't that many new things! A Pokémon that follow us, the customization of our character, Just dance in Pokémon sauce and the other affair in the underground caves! And from that, what's new? The graphics are those of Mobile games and not of the Switch! They just want to make money off the backs of the young and nostalgic Pokéfans to make them wait while waiting for Pokémon Legends Arceus. A proof? Pokémon Compagny donated this project to a Mobile gaming company! Pokémon Legends Arceus looks a hundred times better than Pokémon BDSP! Just at the graphics level, this is the most beautiful Pokémon video game. I haven't seen any issues with FPS. (The people who complain about this detail are the ones who are never satisfied!)

Same! Diamond and Platinum were my first games as a kid, so those are so nostalgic and so long awaited for me, and they're looking really awesome! I'd held off from buying a Switch until now due to the cost but I'll get a second-hand Switch Lite and grab both games when they come out😁

If you hadnt seen or realized, the new growlithe form is pretty derivative of the beta gold/silver pre evolution of growlithe that was scrapped. Awesome to see another mon saved from the cutting room floor!
Anyone who didn’t play the d/p originals are annoyed it looks basic but it’s as close to the original graphics as it can be. Such a nostalgia trip for anyone who played the originals.

The hands finally look accurate for a chibi! They fixed the freaky looking oversized hands! Now I think I'll buy it. The chibi models were fixed to accurate chibi proportions. And I was never against chibi TTar, I was against the creepy design they originally used. These are accurate chibi proportions now. They actually listened to us!

1. Customisation is still a new feature, whether it affects the gameplay or not, as it was not in DP.
2. I was talking about Pokémon not in the DP Pokédex like the regional evolutions and Pokémon like Houndoom being available.
I guess since the second one is a Platinum feature being put into DP it technically isn’t a new feature as it was already in a Sinnoh game, but the first point still stands.

They did not show the final evolutions of the starter Pokémon in BDSP or Cinthia's Garchomp. This really makes me believe that the next trailer is going to release megas because they will be showing off the rest of the game with the Pokémon league and her as well. They aren't going to remove fairy types because they legit forced them into the game so they would either have to take them out to not have megas or they would have to change some Pokémon in Cynthia's team and that's incredibly unlikely. Her Spiritomb and Garchomp are the most iconic members of her team so they are not going to remove them. This makes megas look highly likely unless they decide to remove fairy typing but as I said they didn't force them into the games just to remove them for a remake when they have been in remakes already like in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Ontop of the lack of information on the new Arceus game they are destined to release one last trailer for BDSP before it releases that shows us the rest. The leakes we have gotten months ago show that there is a mega garchomp being planned to be used for marketing for BDSP and they didnt show Cynthia's Garchomp so if that leak is true they may be hiding it for the reveal in the final trailer. I have high hopes for this because pokemon is being more shady then usual about the advertising in this game, and I believe its to get people hyped for the final trailer that releases what everyone has been desperate to see: Cynthia's Mega Garchomp.

Maybe, but ecologically speaking, some species will die out when their habitat is used for human construction and such. When the Simon region developed and cities expanded, some Pokemon maybe could not survive anymore-not necessarily just from a change in the climate.

The world becoming warmer def could've cause the change in Growlithe because its fur coat is to keep the cold away, so as the world gets hotter, it shed its outer coat. For Wyrdeer, it's probably from modernization. If the environment becomes less harsh, then it has less of a reason to evolve. A potentially more tragic reason is overhunting, because its dex entry says that its prized for the fur on its beard and legs. Basculegion... I actually have no idea, maybe the Basculin mortality rate went down. For Hisuian Braviary, it could've migrated somewhere else like other types of birds? Idk, those are just my theories.

It's a common issue with games but with pokemon there's also a lot of broken trust from Sword and Shield actually looking as bad as they did in early footage. If they keep improving from here people are likely to be more comfortable trusting things to get better from trailer to release again.

Honestly this is so exciting for someone who started with DP😍 Gonna relive the nostalgia with BDSP, and I'll love the extra lore with Legends + it's stunning and the action element looks fantastic. I'm also so glad they kept and improved the underground in BDSP + added Pokemon following us😍 Music sounded great as well!

I'd be fine if it WAS another remake because the next ones to be remade would be Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness. (Dunno if they'd add Explorers of Sky to that) and those were the best games of the Mystery Dungeon series. Plus seeing that "Primal" Dialga in 3D would be cool.

The strong style and agile style makes me think about rapid and single strike from the tcg.

The graphics of legends arceus are all over the place man. Some of it looks great, then you see the snow area and its pretty jarring. I swear to god i got tree whiplash with some of the models looking really nice and others looking improperly shaded. He new for,s and character models are great though. Combat and gameplay seem interesting aswell. I really want to love this and i really hope it looks a bit more consistent on release but i doubt it will

If we’re being honest here from a developing standpoint to get a trailer out I’m almost certain they focused their energy on the Pokémon and character models and after they will continue to develop the scenery and world as it has improved as we can see compared to the first reveal trailer
This game changed a lot in 6 months from having no NPCs and frame rate issues and Pokemon just standing still to getting a full blown overhaul I think they will be able to fix that as they did with BDSP
I think they've earned the benefit of the doubt at this point.

The Sinnoh map on the BDSP website sadly confims there will be no Battle Frontier. Probably just the Battle Tower from Diamond & Pearl.
It also shows that the Pal Park is in the game. Kind of interested how they implemented that.
The trailer and the map also show that the casino in Veilstone got replaced with the character customization building. While character customization is nice, it's also pretty sad we didn't get a new minigame to replace the casino.

So what I gathered from all of this, is that ILCA really touched up alot of BDSP, unfortunately it seems to be just a remaster rather than a remake, but we figured that for awhile. But my god does Legends Arceus look amazing, the new forms, the rpg elements, like TTAR said, Arceus is probably getting the best pokemon game in awhile.
Maybe they add these forms to BDSP too? I guess that would make it more of a remake

@@MerkFreeksYeah same here man. I liked how that game felt more of an evolution rather than a 1 for 1 of the originals. The whole concept of megas and the complete national dex in those games really elevated it. I mean BDSP can still include a sizable if not complete dex. They could still include original megas. And if they reveal the inclusion of these Legends Arceus regional/evolution forms it could still make things feel fresh. At least if there are enough of those forms and not just like eight of them. But yeah the approach feels different already. So definitely bittersweet to see the truth behind these games now
All I got to say is that I've been impressed with the pokemon present today will be picking both games. But the one that caught my attention is the people/"fans" have been mad quiet like they appreciate the trailer. Compared to the first trailer I know I should ignore them but why waste your time complaining when they haven't shown you much. I feel like without megas/primal, some new dlc, or post game story like Rayquaza they haven't fumbled the bag yet. Idk it's just me but I'm excited that we get to walk with pokemon again and relieve gen 4 with better graphic and the nostalgic.

It was a decent premiere overall. However we are still unsure if bdsp is more of a remake or a remaster and if pokemon legends arceus is just catching pokemon bringing them back and doing this for 5 hours... I remain hopeful, the new forms/evolutions look great, and you can tell they put in work in order to make bdsp look more appealing, following pokemon is also nice. So I am still undecided as of how good the gamed will be.
Even as a remake, this is looking quite good. Honestly, it hit my nostalgia harder than it would have if it hadn’t had custom battlegrounds for specific encounters and if it didn’t use the chibi artstyle. They’ve done really quite well so far.

What do you mean? There aren't that many new things! A Pokémon that follow us, the customization of our character, Just dance in Pokémon sauce and the other affair in the underground caves! And from that, what's new? The graphics are those of Mobile games and not of the Switch! They just want to make money off the backs of the young and nostalgic Pokéfans to make them wait while waiting for Pokémon Legends Arceus. A proof? Pokémon Compagny donated this project to a Mobile gaming company! Pokémon Legends Arceus looks a hundred times better than Pokémon BDSP! Just at the graphics level, this is the most beautiful Pokémon video game. I haven't seen any issues with FPS. (The people who complain about this detail are the ones who are never satisfied!)

They did it. The fights as a trainer against the bosses are Pokepark-Style while the normal overworld interactions look like Ranger. Love it.
