This is such a special video. Love it!
(ELI5) References/Jokes/Stereotypes:
0:24 Kristin has an ENFP sister Jenna and also knows lots of ENFPs in her life
1:36 "Lady and the Tramp" has a human named Jim Dear
1:45 ISFPs like animals
2:03 16P as Philosophers (as shown in Suggested:) discussed whether their refrigerator is infact white
2:14 ENFJ does the steeple (her Chancellor Merkel hand gesture)
2:21 What the characters say. The goggles joke is also a lasting joke in the DKCU (Dear Kristin's Cinematic Universe) though, for example "16P Through the Goggles of the ISTJ" or the end of "16P Speed Dating Each Other". Also Kristin does actually wear contact lenses
2:34 Sensors being sensors
2:47 the INTJ becoming self-aware/breaking the 4th wall and getting cut off thus ending the video is a reoccuring theme in the DKCU. It happens in "16P Dating Their Opposite Type", "16P at Parent-Teacher Conferences", and in this video đ
2:55 I find three St. John Streets in Sydney on Google Maps. Um there is no further point
3:09 INTJ calls ESTP a "scallywag" in "Through the Eyes of the INTJ, 0:01"
3:55 In the outro of 16P in a Horror Movie, the ghosts state that they captured the ENFJ for haunting
4:28 thislinewassuggestedbymehehe Towards the end of "How to get the 16P to talk about their feelings", the ESTJ is captured and forced to talk about their feelings if they want to escape
4:55 (This is how that logic works. It's a faulty logic)
4:56 Check out the Cheeky Boi saga in Kristin's Instagram stories!
5:16 the ESFJ very often does acts of service for other people in the DKCU, often servicing food like popcorn or chocolate lava cakes (16P Around their Crush, 11:44; 16P Interacting on Valentine's Day, 4:44)
5:24 In the original script draft, ESFJ says "We can have it with tea in about 5 minutes". This was cut in this final version. Hence "SPEEEAKING of tea" doesn't make sense here. I believe this is a (Ti)oversight from Kristin đ
5:28 Christmas Breakfast was typed as an ENFP in the Typing Tea series that Kristin has yet to finish. The tea is described by Google as jovially celebratory, cheerful, naively enthusiastic or idealistic; failing to recognize the practical realities of a situation. ENFP feels wronged by this
5:36 No tea has been typed as an ESFJ yet
5:56 INTP, INFJ and ISFJ all have Ti in their stack either as their first or third function. Si is the first function of ISFJ and the third function of INTP.
6:02 INTPs are more often than not portrayed as male in the DKCU. Our most prominent INTPs would perhaps be Johnny and Tommy âș And of course, INTPs are depicted as hermit nerds who read books or are online all the time. I believe this INTP might be one of those, seeing how she mistook a stash of alpaca for trees. (da heck?)
6:36 "The Body Keeps the Score" is a book about healing from trauma, something that INFJs would be stereotypically interested in. Meanwhile, the ESTP with his blind Fi may be suppressing wounds (1:16 in Through the Eyes of the ENFJ) as he scoffs as a reaction.
7:07 Kristin is an Se-dom đ„ł She will pick "excitement" over "boredom" any day.
7:17 Some examples of INFJ's stalking would be "16P Inner Monologue when they like someone 1:54", "16P on Valentine's Day 5:17", "16P giving Christmas Gifts 4:29", and probably many more
7:23 Self-explanatory. This joke was also made in "16P as CZcams Subscribers 4:43"
7:30 The ISTP in the DKCU has also drunk lots of beer and I believe coffee, but lately he has been associated strongly with milk. He holds milk in "16P as Philosophers 2:08", dates milk in "16P Breaking Up With You 3:41", deeply loves milk in the UK captions in "Through the Eyes of the INFP 1:05"... Incidentally, this meme is also prevalent in the patreon community, where a number of ISTPs do actually love milk.
7:50 This is a reference to the self-duplicating beer in "16P on Valentine's Day, 8:10". It's also a reference to the "bi-locate" in "16P Interacting on a Sick Day, 5:50", in which the ESTJ also makes a pun out of "bi-locate". (bioGRATE --> bi-loWAITING)
8:00 Not sure if this is a reference to anything specific. I assume it's just that the ENFP in the DKCU has an abundance of Ne, which makes her daydream a lot like in "16P Playing Charades" or "16P in a Nature Documentary 8:59". (Also both interactions between ENTP and ENFP in "Through the Eyes")
8:05 the ESTJ and the thinkers in general tend to have tidy neat hair
8:17 "froth" is Aussie slang for really liking something. Kristin really, really likes musicals.
8:28 Kristin has matured a lot over the last years đ
8:33 Ialsosuggestedthisscripthehe the ESFP is typically called either "Laura" or "Lauren" in the DKCU, sometimes it's also Kristin herself. Kristin gets her name misspelled as "Kristen", "Kirstin" and more deformities all the time.
8:46 "16 Personalities Working in Retail, 0:44"
9:28 †yes we did, and yes we do đđ„
9:31 split second sad piano music is also a new trend
9:50 Kristin likes depicting INFPs as depressed, romantic object-loving sweethearts, and gets quiet a bit of flak from INFPs from this. One person on personality database wrote "As an INFP, I tried to watch her video but Lord... she really gets on my nerves. She BULLIES INFPs. She clearly thinks our IQ is below 50 and we're flaky 4 year old that just cry, get angry and like animals. Seriously?" Kristin in this video expects a negative reaction from the INFP, hence why she wants to hide.
10:19 Bohemian Rhapsody. But you all knew that.
10:26 People be people. In fact, if you're still reading this, I'm impressed.
10:36 subverting expectations
10:50 important message!
11:11 more important messages addressed to us viewers!
There's more stuff I could unpack, so if you want to add something feel free to reply to this đ I appreciate so much the effort that went into this video, the laughs I got from it, and the meta message it sends!
Thanks, great comment helps me appreciate the ideas all the more!
Jashe this is incredible! Thank you!!
This is brilliant! Thanks
Loved the vid too. Iâd add that she has an ENTP brother.
Iâm quite a bit older than him and female but I think she gets ENTPs real nice ahahah

Incredibly impressive (-and slightly creepy-). Now that's dedication! đ

Or to paraphrase the KISS song, Kristinsixteen (now that I think of it, that would be a good channel name if you ever decide to start a third YT channel).
You did INTJ so dirty at the end there
She want Kristen to erase it
Director's note: The camera going blurry for that very intentional moment was a metaphor for the vast array of conflicting emotions that were clouding Kristin's ability to think clearly in this episode. #nuance
Your deep concern about being misinterpreted and ensuing lengthy explanation is making you look like an INFJ right now... :)
Totes
Ah yes, the deep turmoil from within has finally surfaced and we are learning and understanding the truth of who Kristin is from within, and discovered that the 16 personality stereotypes are not how Kristin sees people, but is simply only a representation of them from one personâs perspective, with hints of herself portrayed through them, as it is impossible to be truly free from bias, which allows her creativity and humor to shine through and entertain the masses.
- ENFP (see! We can be deep and intelligent đ)
Coming up with a quasi-logical explanation on the fly while being hypersensitive to perceived potential criticism yet too disorganised to properly correct your mistakes is also an INTP thing. As an INTP I also approve of the meta nature of the script - though not the INTP's portrayal, which was less insightful than some of your other skits.
đ Got that! So well-done! Congratulations đ
ENFJ: Grills people by unpacking
INFJ: Grills people by educating
ENFP: Grills people by badgering
INFP: Cuts people to the core by exchanging their normal sweetness for gentle disapproval
INTP/INFJ/ISFJ: Too nerdy to grill anyone.
@@Onnarashi INTP/INFJ: already grilled you in our minds, no need to do so out loud. Just need to prompt you to provide further information for our next internal grilling of you.
You forgot: INFP cuts people to the core by ghosting them and making it clear they're not important enough to be on time. >:-D
pls this is so true đ
@@timothyhopper4956 Well, the grilling has to be concise, informative and accurate. You can't just grill someone willy nilly! That would be madness!
This has got to be Kristin's best video on MBTI! Not only she covers most of the things she does and explains on the channel, but she also talks about how not to trust stereotypes and what MBTI is actually about with a comedic tone to it!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Even the inside jokes from her own canon
(Intj at the end was violated lmaođ)
I agree with!
Definitely the best I've seen from any channel!
Looks like Dear Kristen's personalities finally turned against her.
I love how she gets more and more meta with her skits.
Oh, I just realized that I misspelled your name. Sorry Kristin.
Preach, I love how Kristin gets more meta and leans on the fourth wall with every video!
That awful moment when all one's personalities stop fighting with each other and decide to gang up on their host. Happens to all of us eventually. I do hope Kristin is ok.
As a member of the Ti/Fe axis of boredom club, I actually lol'd when she chose to be kidnapped over being taught, because my friends would probably choose the same
đ đ đ
While I like learning, I would probably turn it down in that case just to spite whoever thought it was a good idea to force me to do something. >:-D --INFP
Same, I can probably give a lecture on 16 personality types including enneagram.
â@@nerysghemor5781 although: they didn't really want to *force* her to learn... They were confused by her being tied up
.... Is exploring accurate information that bad?
-INTP
ok... as in INFJ who has 'the body keeps the score', who plays minecraft, and who is a teacher trying to solve everything through education, I am convinced you have met me and interviewed me, then wiped my memory.
I feel like after seeing her tied up, the INFJ should have whipped out their copy of Boundaries.
That book was the only Fi-dqys allusion, wasn't it?
As an INFJ who is currently reading The Body Keeps the Score and is going around recommending it to people (including my therapist!!!) all I can say is, I feel more seen by this portrayal than any INFJ should.
; ) LOL
I love how you flawlessly played 17 characters. The types are just reinforcing their stereotypes, despite being outraged, the highlight being ISFP immediately giving themselves away by mentioning animals! đđ€Łđ¶
As an INFJ, this was super entertaining and I love the fourth wall break within all the 16 personality types. đ

Awww the INTP, INFJ and ISFJ was so wholesome! And as an ENFP I would 100% get on that, like I get distracted at bookshops all the time- and I do it with my INFP and INFJ besties. Also whoever wrote the ENFP at 11:00 - absolute Kudos because âyes, but I also need to make sense of myself using labelsâ has to be the most relatable thing ever

As an INTP I love how I was portrayed as a kidnapper đ
"Wait why she is tied up?..."
And also fearing ISFJs when you stab them the wrong way lol (me with my mom).
Exactly "Wait why she is tied up?..."
I guess, INTJs are cursed with cut offs during their dialogs... at the cost of breaking the 4th walls to silence their forbidden knowledge
I gotta say this for sure is your best skit by far, although I saw that ending coming the second you allowed the INTJ to talk about their feelings
It was too good an opportunity to miss đ Thanks!
As an ISTP I was expecting the ISTP to be the one who kidnapped her. Just to show how easy for them it would be to kidnap someone while being emotionally detached but overall wanting to help the other personalities with their plan.
I love that you always make different stuff. You're highly creative and it's never boring to watch
Aw thank you! đ„Č
@@dearkristin youâre definitely more entertaining than frank james.
I wish regenerating beer would be a skill of us ISTPs
I don't. Tea, however ...
As an INTJ, I agree with the seemingly common sentiment that this has been one of Kristinâs best videos. The sheer quantity of meta-theatricality was a joy to watch. Even in a video about how all of the characterâs she portrays are just stereotypes, and individuals in reality are complex and multifaceted, I still found the INTJ to be very relatable in a variety of ways.
I got my license not too long ago, but I 100% concur that there are a lot of drivers out there who do not abide the law/ driving etiquette. The best way to drive is defensively, and assuming everyone else is an idiot, so youâll be ready when you do encounter idiots. I also have driven very little since getting my license, since buying even a used car in the current economic climate would not be worthwhile for me given I take public transit to university, carpool to most other places I need to get to, bike to work in the summer, and overall donât go out much.
I wouldnât call myself a conspiracy theorist, but depending on perspective, I do believe in a few âconspiraciesâ. Plenty of conspiracies have turned out to be true, and I think it would be more foolish to blindly trust the government than to believe they have lied to their population about certain things, and are hiding things.
I donât hate other people, in fact, I think the world is much better for having those other people in it. That being said, I like spending most of my time alone, or in a silent work environment with others, where I can concentrate and be productive without distraction in a location I have trained my brain to associate with work and efficiency.
There is something to be said though for the brains use of short cuts to process the world around it. We wouldnât be able to operate without that ability. It tends to be accurate most of the time, and sufficient to get by. If something requires further analysis, conscious thought can be put into it, and assumptions can then be corrected if inaccurate.
INTJs are the most on point on being able to explain global events with a coherent logical structure based on historical facts. But almost no one is really ready to see behind the curtain...including INTJs. Because to do so would destroy carefully crafted identities we all work hard on maintaining. Better to just take the blue pill for mental health.
I agree, I loved it.
I find INTJs super relatable irl and in these videos. Then again Iâm an ENTP we are pretty much less uptight and more fun versions ahahah
â@@richardmartin7904 It may destroy us, and make us dark and cynical, but we need to see behind that curtain. We need to know. -INTJ
@@laststand6420 Step 1 is watching the documentary Century of the Self...which is free on CZcams. Left me in a rage for a week. But only watch that if you are at peek mental health. You will be in for a rough ride.
Leave it to an INTJ to bring a boat load of irrelevancies into the discussion!
Actually, I wouldn't have it any other way. I especially liked "The best way to drive is defensively, and assuming everyone else is an idiot, so youâll be ready when you do encounter idiots." Youâll go far using logic to construct good responses to lifeâs problems.
Oh crap. There I go again responding to an interesting side consersation that touches off a rational idea instead of noticing the world around us.
An INTP.
This was a genius script. I loved every second of it
Thank you!
Kristin, you should include yourself in the skits more often, you always have the best hairstyle when you do that
Why thank you!
â@@dearkristin and your make up was perfect! One of your best, easily
Out of all the mbti stereotype skit channels, this one is my favorite. Not only is it the funniest but Dear provides more nuance and layers to each personality. I like how the INFP really didnât want anything to do with the kidnapping but did just show up with a piano to express their disappointment and pain.
Love the little note of ISFJ having a bit of violence to them and not wanting to participate unless it was a learning activity đ
My head-cannon is the ISTP secretly wanted to watch musicals all day, and was seeing if they could trick everyone into watching musicals all day, without actually telling anyone they wanted to watch musicals all day.
shh u can't expose us like this
Be silent, weâre not supposed to be here. Just step back and watch the other types unfold themselves before our eyes. đ
@trevormadland5802 shit ur right

I'm happy to talk about it đ
Wow! A legit tour de force! I gave up counting the in-jokes and call-backs as I was laughing too much! Such a fitting 50k celebration video - when it finally clocks up, talk about a watched kettle never boiling! Here's to the next 50k of laughs and insights to share with the plants on my piano! đ€Ł
Hahaha, thanks Ed! đ„Č It felt special to make this one. Glad you enjoyed it!
As an INTJ who spends half my life being interrupted it seems like, that ending really got me. đ
And that ending WAS rather heartwarmingâŠand also vindicating since it makes the point I was trying to make in some CZcams comments yesterday to someone who insisted I wasnât INTJ because I was being friendly and encouraging to someone else in the comments. đ Apparently itâs either act like Dr. House or bust in the INTJ âclub.â No room for the Gandalfs of the world.
And don't think that Dr. House is that bad.
Also, the ending is really somewhat offending. In 11:48 there was a question to INTJ about her feelings, and INTJ finally decided to speak about her feelings, but no one listened. That makes no sense. This is just mean. And INTJ isn't mean. Well, most of the time
â@@fred_krueger55 It was supposed to be funny because the INTJ said the video was going to cut them off. And I'm guessing most INTJs would find it funny.
@@sarahberkner yes, It was funny
Easily one of the best videos you've ever made, PERIOD.
I don't always relate to the INFP skits every now and then(then again, there's always multiple other types that can also be relatable to us), but it's real nice to acknowledge that you shouldn't label people their types based on completely stereotypical traits. Excellent work!
INTJ getting cut off before revealing her feelings is icing on the cake. XD
These are just too good. "Strange" that you talking to yourself feels so natural.
It did even before CZcams đ
As an INFJ I really love this video. Youâre incredibly creative and such a good actor. This INFJ approves!
This one too!
Yes, itâs absolutely brilliant. Here here! đ đ đ
I love the "Dear" joke, I felt the exact same way about Evan Hansen and Theodosia, that it was their first names, for some reason! đ
I didn't see the "Dear Evan Hansen" show, and have heard that the movie wasn't great--have you seem both?
@@jameswilkerson4412 I've seen the movie, and the stage show online. The movie is sadly not as great as the show, since it gets rid of many relevant songs, and lets the protagonist off the hook more.
Also, LOVE "Hamilton"!

Very kind of you. Thank you!
I love how original this was !
A little bit hurt that we don't hear the INFP hear that much, juste like me in real life... It's even more hurting that depicting us as depressed girls ! (PS: I've been thinking of my life that last weeks, so maybe just a little but that's all ^^') We want to hear more the INFP discussing them feelings !
-a random (not so) depressed INFP-
(sorry for the mistakes, I'm not a native english speaker...)
Also you break soooo many stereotypes of ESFPs just by the way you are able to see abstract ideas and multiple perspectives and it is extremely admirable.
It's like how people forget that INFPs can put on our Te hat too, even if it doesn't come as easily. For me that's a big reason for breaking the hippie stereotype because, being raised by Te-doms, I will go, "OK, your good intentions are nice, but is that course of action actually going to lead to hell in practice and hurt the people you're claiming to help?"
I agree. I actually can't believe it , because SE is in contrast so extremly painful for me (INTP).
Nethertheless I really don't understand, why in relationships the opposite should be the ideal partner, for me an ESFJ.
Isn't that Ni?
We need more ENTJ Kristin đ
INFP: Yes, our stereotype sucks. That said, it WAS pretty accurate to how final it is when we're done with someone*. Oh, and was she deliberately late because she didn't care enough anymore about the kidnappee to bother showing up on time? (We really do have to care to be on time.)
*I am definitely not done with dear kristen. I LOVE your stuff! Even if you do make INFPs fragile crybabies and don't let US get to talk to animals sometimes. (ISFP does not have a monopoly on that.) XD
Love this nuanced take on INFP lateness đ

Been watching since the start and this was gold. Very self aware and beautifully stated.
I loved it when my 3 favorites showed up... and then you freaking gagged them cause they bore you a bit đ Also great message at the end as a response to all the criticism. I know I've definitely been guilty of the "I'm a _______ and I'd be different than that." Everyone is more nuanced than the caricatures of their type. Lastly, I appreciate how you share your faith in a way that is genuine, and how the Lord has given you a platform to use some of your talents and abilities. Well done KristIN đ

I'm a longtime viewer of your videos and thoroughly enjoyed this with all the jokes and references to previous videos. Also, I giggled when the INTJ was cut off just as they were about to discuss their feelings. Well done, as always! - an INTJ
I'd love to see a darker version of the ISFP -- sassy, stubborn, slightly vicious, easily irritated at someone who irritates her... and not always talking about animals. Actually, I find I get along very well with INTJs, and I have my moments when I can be just as deep as they are. :) And I am very stubborn, have a sense of humor, and can be quite cutting when I get mad. I see this as the beginning of a new series. Also, this is a 4th wall break I was never expecting. Well done!
Great work on this one Kristin and patreon community! Everything was accurate while also being funny about how stereotypes can box us in, but, honestly, it was correct too that stereotypes are about observing us in simple ways first and then we can get into the meatier aspects of personality. I would've found it hilarious to see INFP lose it. The ones I've met are... aggressive, when they're unhealthy, and that's putting it mildly, but it makes sense that an ENFP would be more adamant about getting their point across. Loved how the INTJ got cut off again. It always hurts--
that ending đ this video was insanely fun to watch actually, keep it up!
As much as I would prefer a constantly scary and villain-like depiction of INTJ, as well as warm and kind-hearted depiction for ISFJ, I love the character growth they are (all) having. It makes them more profound as a character and shows how types aren't limited to being their type. I love the little snippets of ISFJ violent tendencies. Also the sudden kind-hearted NT moments for INTPs and INTJs.
My favorite thing about MBTI is that it is solely cognitive not behavioral. And that they are more so just 'tendencies' because when I unconsciously type a person know their tendencies then witness them try to go against it to be better, it's just really beautiful. Heartwarming too. But also the most useful feature of MBTI to me is a tool that speaks to me into understanding myself (thus I become less critical and more forgiving) and learning how to move about with the world and you know, the people... I guess.
-INTJ
Ha, the banter between INTJ and Kristin was great!
The ENFP and Kristin conversation point was lovely though.
Amazing video as always! - an INTP tree.
I have never watched a video as meta as this, and I love it đ
ISTJ
this is like that episode in sit coms where they remember other episodes and is just a reference after reference. I love this, perfect for old time fans and to engage new ones haha
Kris10
Iâm just mad at INFJ, ISFJ, and INTP for not taking me (INFP) to the library/art store with them.
Woooaaaah this was incredible! You said everything that needs to be said about the mbti community and the fact, that some stereotypes help to understand others, while still having in mind that people are individuals! Darn good job there, one of the best thought through, entertaining and yet educational channels out there! Good on ya! â€ïž - random ENFP with the urge for a comment, since it was THAT good.
I wasnât expecting to see this video so early in the morning, but Iâm not complaining lol.
And I believe she has truly gone as close to full meta as she can go đ. This was great Kristin, truly.
Thank you!
Woah this is so good! I love all the references. This video is really special
Thank you, Gali! đđ
Dang Kristen cut the INTJ off
I know 3 INTJs in real life with well developed Fi so they actually do talk about personal feelings, just like the one at the end. Too bad she got cut off again.
I love this video so much! And you mentioned the typing teas!!!
Too many times being cut off and INTJs will organize a discord server (I propose âDear Kristenâ) to recruit other types that have the patience and/or Se to make INTJ versions of these videos according to our scripts
I would join in on that but I'm an INTJ and unironically don't have the patience for that
This channel is getting creative days by days and I love it . I am just observing the channel creating videos that can feed my mind with various random thoughts and ideas to ponder over and help me in my mental exercise....great video again and really enjoyed it
That's one of the best videos yet. Good job, Dear Kirsten. I mean Kristin.
@dear.Kristin this is your best work yet and Iâm so impressed with your hard work putting these all together. My boss is an ESFP and Iâm INTJ and you absolutely nailed the dynamic between those two types! I was cracking up because itâs so true! So good! So funny! Bravođ„
This is probably my favorite video of Kristin's. Loved the whole INTP, INFJ, and ISFJ. Great job!
~ Ana
Wow this is an amazing work! Must've been such a fun project with the patreons. The ti trio walking in late was adorable! And, as an isfj, i got pretty excited by the thought of listening to those three educating me. Fun!
ENTP just chilling and looking cool as ever đđđ»
I love this video! You're so creative :) It's crazy how well you embody each of the types.
NO! INTJ WAS JUST ABOUT TO OPEN UP!
TiFE Axis Represent!
Lol itâs a video about the personalities complaining about being put into stereotypes while acting like those stereotypes. The irony is strong imo. I love it.
-An INTP
Edit: I relate a lot to the INTJ in this video to for some reason. I also relate a bit to the ENTP. And the INTP, but not as much. Oh, and the ISTP, wanting the title to be accurate and leaving out of annoyance.
Edit 2: I was questioning why the other Ti dom (ISTP) didnât know Kristin (an ESFP) wouldnât find musicals torture.
Edit 3: Iâm noticing more and more every time I watch this, so be prepared for many other edits to this comment.
Edit 4: You cut the INTJ off after all lol
Edit 5: What would the INTJâs version of the personality skits look like đ€
Edit 6: Why is the INFPâs piano backwards?
"So meta!"
I'm not sure you got that several of them were purposefully were different than their stereotypes
@@sarahberkner I know, Iâm just saying that they were MOSTLY walking stereotypes.
This is one of the best skits so far! Love it!
How can this video be SO great!?
New favorite MBTI video unlocked. Really enjoyed it, thank you, definitely one of your best!
Love seeing the Ti/Fe group together and being completely relatable (Just hoping my friends don't see this and realize they could just tie me up and gag me to stop me from talking, they don't need to know that that's an option.)
Absolutely killed it Kristin! I couldn't stop smiling, it was a riot! A clever rollercoaster of wit đ gotta love those inside jokes đ
There's so much effort put into this âĄ
Good Work â
Just found this channel and already a big fan.
Upon first glancing the thumb nail in my youtube subscriptions, I knew I was in for a real treat with this one :)
I fully expected the INTP to show up at some point, but not say anything, and when asked why they were there to reply, "Oh, I just planned the kidnapping. I didn't think we were actually going to do it."
Haha đ
This video is a treat! The avengers of dear kristin videos.
