Day 24 of asking Nick: Nick please do a cops and robbers in Forza Horizon 5 that starts at the yellow church in gutajarto to Buena Vista on the west side of the map while driving a Renault 4L Export (upgraded) while the other guys drive Crown Vic's while only one can choose a super car! But all the cop cars have to be painted with the "Nick Patrol" paint job to make it extra spicy!

It's kinda strange watching someone play a game and be worse at it than you are. Just watching a person trying to get used to it and get into the game, it's fun. CarX has been, for a while, a game I'd hop on in the evening to chill. Haven't played in several months and there's new stuff now too

This game definitely needs patience but when you get it right it’s a lot of fun
I got really good at it and been playing it like crazy
This, it has a learning curve for sure, at first I hated doing the top 32 comps, but I just kept pushing myself to do it, and now with the combo of practice, and just using the basic universal tunes, I'm throwing down 100 plus runs which feels awesome
10h in and i already good, not good good, but good enough to enjoy the drift scene

A tip for controller that can make you extremely smooth, is to roll the sticks. To roll the sticks, basically but the stick all the way up, and then roll to the side, easy as that.
Tbh I don't roll the sticks, but I also don't flick them, I keep the movement smooth since the game countersteers for you
@@lukereyes6266that’s how i use to drift but i switched to rolling only because i has to adapt to the players in the game
@EBunknxwn that's fair, when I attempt to tandem I use the stick and throttle (or lack thereof) to rotate my car, yk?
To that you can use that in other games as well I use it in Forza sometimes and acc
Yeah I do very similar, roll and flick if needed had to learn it years back for forza as in the replays it used to look horrible 😂

I personally think it's a blast to play from time-to-time. It's a great game to just zone out and just slide. It's not ALL that different from its state in 2021 I'd say, but they have made some great improvements over the years. I see it has already been said but "rolling" your sticks is a must for controller. I personally have the controller assist on which can make initiating a little weird but it basically steers automatically after you initiate but then you roll the sticks to control the amount of counter-steer. It's almost a slight inverted feel at first but makes for extremely smooth drifting for controller. I also like tuning the cars a bit and have much more fun with my tire adhesion turned down. Just my 2 cents.
That’s crazy cause I run 120 adhesion on all my cars😭
Right?! I usually turn music on low enough to still hear the car and before I know I've been drifting for over an hour or two 😂
Nick you need to put it on the ultimate setup the drift setup was to grippy for the Aston Martin to slide well tune it with the ultimate setup next time it will be a lot more fun to drive
so nick just pointing this out there if you move the joystick slowly with steering it makes the drifting alot smoother like you dont need to flick the joystick at all just slowly push it to either side like its a steering wheel and the game countersteers for you

I got this game when it came out and was like $15 but seeing how far its come its been a fun game 💯
When I first played Carx back in 2020, I didn't really invest my time into it and plus I had no clue how to make cash. Down the road I tried it again after the updates and fell in love with it.
If you're wondering how I got back into CarX, it's all thanks to Phonk music and these videos.

Absolutely love this game and the updates just keep making it better. Was always a forza motorsport fan when it came to drifting on console but this blows it out the water
Hey nick since you came back to car x drift why dont you try car x street again the game has been updated bunch of times and it runs much better and has multiplayer support

I use it in vr on my moza wheel but it is a last resort type thing. It is much better on controller but too arcade like to me
I have this for the switch and it's not bad when played on switch can tend to lag but I'm also running off the worst wifi possible it feels
It's for sure a fun game especially if you are consistently playing with the right people/crowd. It can get boring really fast if you are just in random lobbies.

Been trying to unlock the damn mustang for hours 😪 anyone got any tips aside from trying to get consistent 100 point xds runs?
Single player L.A block. Use a slower car that can maintain angle and use that for your lead. Then use the mustang and get on its door and stay on it. Keep matching angle, if the circle above your car isn’t full for like more than a second then you won’t get a 100 point chase. At least that’s what I noticed. Don’t worry about hitting the zones on your chase, just stay on its door and maintain that same angle, you’ll get it 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

You have to buy a few cars and use them on the drift mode and earn gold a lot
Bro should really try a CZcams tune at first just to get the hang of it and unlock ultimate so he can actually tune it properly then he’d have a better time

Hit 51,XXX points last night in Springstone with an Ultimate IS300 after only a few hours of playing for the first time and messing with different things in the game. It's not that hard to figure out.

Nick still drifting like it's forza.... when you roll sticks you can feel the car more even though controllers have no ffb but somehow it just feels like you can feel how heavy the car is

Carx is my favorite game to just chill and play its fun and relaxing at the same time. On top of that it's probably the cheapest game I own also so value wise it is the best game out imo
mannnnnnn car x pro here (not) but i’ve been playing since the game came out pretty much i will say the game can get boring but with friends it’s hella funn you’ll get to a point where you only like and run a certain amount of maps but other than that this games awsome the community is great and all the good players are familiar with each other or know of one another. this is the typa game where u have to find that “good player lobby” to see all the action and the games full potential
I know nick hates mobile racing games but I have one good game (probably), it's called assoluto racing it has some official circuits like nurburgring and tsukuba even EBISU. It has licensed car too like porshes and mclarens

I'm considering buying the game but I suspect it's too arcadey and has physics that make drifting easy on purpose, compared to Assetto Corsa which is a car game with realistic physics first, where you can also drift. I mean drifting in Drift21 and Forza is fun but doesn't feel right.

Join up with me sometime. I use wheel at 900 degrees and no assists and shifter and handbrake. Can't tandem for shit but I've put in over 1300 hours 😂
