✎ He made his acting debut in his home country in the late 1990s. A native of Cork, Murphy began his performing career as a rock musician. After turning down a record deal, he made his professional acting debut in the play Disco Pigs in 1996. While continuing with stage work he also began appearing in independent films. He first came to international attention in post-apocalyptic film 28 Days Later. Since 2013, Murphy has played the lead in the BBC gangster series Peaky Blinders. He played the lead role in Ken Loach's Palme d'Or-winning film The Wind That Shakes the Barley. He appeared in a series of successful films: Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises and Breakfast on Pluto. He won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Solo Performancefor Misterman in 2011. He became patron of the UNESCO Child and Family Research Centre at the National University of Ireland Galway.

Evan it just KILLED hearing you (mis)pronounce 💚CILLIAN’S💚 Beautiful IRISH ☘️ 1st name, it is “Killian Murphy” not “Sillian Murphy”. I guess with an Irish ☘️ name like Maureen, mine has been mispronounced & misspelled my entire life, I am especially keen on it.

To think he ever has thought he's just a waste of space is mind boggling. When he says people need cinema it's true, a break from reality but he also says a movie can be life change and that means so much. It shows the true depth of his soul. He makes me think a lot! It's pronounced Killian and from interviews I've seen with him in the past he really dislikes when people mispronounce his name. You might want to fix that in the introduction.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and the correction. :) Evan records/films videos by batch - for a day - 60-80 videos so it might happen that he might mispronounce a name as he does filming way before research or edit is done but he proceeds with the upload as it is scheduled and our team puts a lot of energy, time and effort with it and we believe that despite that the video provides lots of value and people could learn from it. #BTA617 Shine

You need to fix it. Would you enjoy someone constantly calling you "John" or "Ivan"? It's video, easily fixed by rerecording and editing.
I watched a Killian interview about 10 minutes ago in which he laughed about people not pronouncing his name correctly. He said people have difficulty saying it. He did not appear upset at all.

it would have been great to have seen his in his band way back when... I think that new sidebar thing is a little over-designed. Did you run into fair use issues with full-screen clips? I really don't think a quarter of the screen needs to be taken up with a 'still to come' trailer of the next clip..? Distracting and doesn't add anything, imo.
Also I think you're sneakily making that intro EVEN LONGER 😭 1 min 17 seconds of preamble is craziness, we just have to skip it anyway. I'd cut it to one second of logo and straight in. Then END with the 'share and comment' cta, when people are actually ready to do those things.
