- Welcome to Agriculture Academy, where we show you how to start a profitable business in agriculture.
In this video, we are going to take a look at some of the sheep breeds that you can rear. Generally, the sheep are classified on the basis of meat and wool production, with some breeds being suitable in both instances.
Some of the breeds included on our list include the Southdown, Lincoln and Merino sheep.

No milking sheep?
Lol you came here for a homework video because your going on a farm trip and now your looking at the comments because your bored
Ahaha 🤣
I only like a non-polled sheep breeds like whilshire & black belly breeds.
Ahh, the black bellies are Dorper's,
Somali sheep is the Persian one
Charolais are on top
The big question is where do I get these awesome sheep?
IDK what kind of sheep we have here - we have wool sheep farms that sell the wool to make government wool watch caps - I have never seen any sheep locally raised for mutton or milk/cheese - not sure what they are just wool producing white sheep - lots of people raising goats IDK why tough meat - milk only good for making soap maybe just to keep the grass down
Shawarma are the best sheep!
🇺🇸👍👍👍OK
Dorpers….They CANNOT lamb 3 times a year. They can have 5 lambings in a three year period. It’s called ‘accelerated lambing’ but it is NOT 3 lambing’s in a year! This site is not very good at presenting facts. 🤷♀️
Your video looses credibility when it's telling about Dorset Horns but is showing pictures of other breeds .
shit happens
I stoped watchinv when you said breeds 3 times a year !!!!
Impossible for any breed of sheep to breed three times a year !!!
3 times in 2 years
They said 3 TIMES a year
That's in 2 years of i can't wait til I get my new glasses
@@cjshadrick4607 they said 3 lambs a year.impossible.ewe take 5months to give birth.its 3 breedings in 2 years
@@henricoheunis8705 my sheep breed TWICE a year , but ! Ewe's that have never been bred come into heat every 17 DAYS until they are bred. Sorry if you misunderstood also my sight isn't what it use to be .
