much thanks. Iv never worked on this style of toilet before. The stuff I worked on before didn't use a mounting bracket, They where just tank to toilet with bolts and a gasket. This really helped!
In 5 secs you solved my troubles by showing the removal of flow valve base from the drylock plate and the right tools. Rock on Dude!
As a master toilet mechanic, [plumber], I must say these vids are very well done.
Thank you brother! Appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment! Plumb on!
I replaced the whole unit with mounting bracket and gaskets. The oil filter wrench was a great tip and help get mounting nut off real easy. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the video...just did my complete overhaul job because of the phantom flush every 45 minutes......the flush value gasket was shot on one side and there was the leak.......the only thing I add to the install was putting a rubber washer on the bolt touching the bowl......now i could tighten and not worry about cracking it....
The olive oil was a game changer! So appreciate this video, thanks!
thanks a lot! your tips were very helpful!
THX MY GUY JUST was fighting this , save us

Hey I have to say all your videos are very well done I do have a question what sewer camera do you use it your kit cheers
Thanks a bunch!
You’re very welcome bro
What knee pads do you use ? Thanks
Great video. May I ask what state you work in?
Would be nice if he can provide the link to buy the materials.
It's great and czcams.com/users/postUgkxZ7xR4U1TX3HwZZ84K6KfzVTyrqxaZ3jZ , a little bit too tall. I only like an inch. But overall well worth everything. The worst part of this was the Toto seat, poorly made hinge slides from side to side
How do we get it apart and to this stage
Where can you buy the metal plate?
What about adhesive? Would it be better to put some on there? Or should I just leave it without adhesive?
Definitely do not put adhesive on there just reinstall it the way it was originally installed.
Thank you. All was good until I couldn’t get the nut off w oil filter wrench. It wouldn’t budge. Used the spray and also WD 40. I’m sure the problem was attributed to me being a 68 yo Grammy lol. Finally I basically used a screwdriver and broke the nut some. So, I’ve got one more I want to do! Dislike. Thanks again for the to the point video. Lifesaver.
Thanks for not giving us a p/n
You left out 1/2 the procedure - reinstalling the tank. 😞
What half did I leave out?
@@PlumbingExplained At 4:53, it says "you're ready to go" but the tank is still on the floor.
