    Good review. As a Model 3 owner, I found the review quite objective.
    I love my TM3, it drives great, is very efficient, charges quickly and comes very well equipped.
    The one thing I find annoying is having to re-engage auto-pilot after every lane change. I think this is to incite you to opt for the advanced auto pilot which costs 3700 Euros. Automatic wipers used to be really bad, but with recent updates, they work much better.
    The matrix headlights were activated a couple of months ago and work quite well.
    Having tested the Highland, the ride has been improved and noise level has been lowered compared to my car. I also wish I had the ventilated seats.
    If you are planning to spend more than thirty thousand euros on a car of SUV, you should consider an ev. Calculate the full cost of ownership. And you should test drive a Tesla Model 3 or Model Y.

    You should not press the steering wheel like you did. There are no sensors! You need to rest to hand in such a way a little weight is on the steering wheel. Don’t wiggle it just a little truning force! That’s it.

    Actually there are 2 "driving modes": chill/relaxed and standard. Relaxed will offer you a slower response in the acceleration. Quite needed, for a car that gets to 100 in 4.4s.

    I have 2024 ID4 4motion with TravelAssist and I had M3 on a trip for one week. I have to say that the autopilot was far worse. It doesn’t have capacitive sensors, it drops out when changing lanes and cannot change on its own, you need to re-engage it and it forgets the speed. Same if the road markings or a tighter bend drops it out. The distance doesn’t shorten on stop&go traffic, it kept it quite far on a middle setting. Daily shadow braking, etc. It looks nice and it’s fast, but ride quality was not as good.

      Sounds like you are comparing a VW with an optional driver assist package to the Tesla without any options. You’d need to have optioned Enhanced Autopilot or FSD on the Tesla for it to be a reasonable comparison.

  • @BadL_
    @BadL_ Před 20 dny +2

    In the US, Full Self-Driving is way better on highways and of course can drive anywhere theres a road. The latest update also only uses eye tracking if yours are visible, meaning it is completely 100% hands free.
    Also might be a US thing only but you can set the Autopilot to go a specific percentage or amount over the speed limit by default.
