I wear leotards fairly often. Usually I wear tights with them to keep my knees warm, and so that my balls don't pop out the side. One contemporary thing I prefer is workouts barefoot or with minimal shoes instead of big sneakers.

I did this last night! I always wanted to do aerobics but all they offer today is yoga,spin class,zumba,and a bunch of weight lifting classes. I saved a lot doing this at home. I got only twenty one minutes into the workout on my first try. Not bad at all. 😁

I did this almost every day during lockdown and I felt and looked great. I also love the Jane Fonda's but sometimes there's too much jumping, which nowdays is not considered too good for the knees. This workout is lighter on the jumping but still will make you sweat and make you happy cause it feels like dancing!

Excellent old school work out-great for today-still & always relevant! Coming from a 56 yr. old classically trained ballerina-fun time music and 80'a style-Yay for Plies(French for knee bends!)
This is quite a normal routine for the time. Low to high impact aerobics had some common basic moves and each instructor just put them together differently in fun ways.
JM I still teach 80s style fitness moves incorporated then with weights . A tough workout . Introducing young females to the good traditional fitness systems ❤. They love it and the music 😂😂😂😂 such great fun JM . 🎉🎉

Home workouts began with the original Jane Fonda workouts, which were more like dance classes with a lot of floor work and a brief bit of barefoot jogging to get blood flowing. Then media stared to focus on cardiovascular exercise being crucial, so workouts began to include segments for that, and then some workouts centered around aerobics. The 20 Minute Workout with Bess Motta was a huge hit and there are a lot of episodes on here too. Not sure if that answers your question? But yes, the 80s were a fun time in many ways. Jane Fonda and those other workouts began my 30+ year career in fitness. 😊
that actually a good tape for your back, it really trains it and brins out years of backpain. Tried other modern more methodic shit but didn't work. This one is great.

yes!! i love this workout. yesterday made my 5th time! was finally able to work my way up to using 3 lb dumbbells and 3lb ankle weights with it too!

My granny actually used tapes like this along with biking and swimming and she was really fit so they must sort of work even though they look silly.
These workouts are incredibly effective. They combine aerobics with toning and stretching without raising stress hormones, makes such a difference.
