That first duel was absolute insanity. I really don't know Jen got so lucky, but that endboard was just crazy.
Lets be honest, change of heart was the real boss monster here. No specific boss monster but I think it would be cool to see the cover monsters of the structure decks throughout the years go head to head. Like red eyes darkness vs the zombie master or whatever the name was lol

Obelisk vs Raviel
Slifer vs Uria
Ra vs Hamon
Hamon and Raphael are both 4000 and only obelisk is 4000. Slider needs draw cards to be insanely big. Ra unless your playing sphere mode and ancient chant won't be able to win if your life points are to low. Uria needs traps. So unless you using the sacred beast support they gonna loose super fast.

I like keeping the cards in the same era because its such a nostalgia trip, but I'd also love to see some matches with new cards to mix things up. One of my favorite matches was the Rainbow Dragon vs Hero Kluger, which are prolly old cards but they were both cards from after I stopped playing/watching yugioh, so that match made me curious about how the game has changed through each era. Since most of your audience is probably from the older era of yugioh, you could slowly start introducing them to the current meta and bring a lot of older players back into playing again
I love it that you guys stick to the cards in the same era simply because i love seeing all the older cards brings back memories of my younger years. Love seeing the duels keep it up much love. P.S SuSu proved me wrong
Jen going “How is this unfair?” While pointing at the board where she has 2 Dragon Master Knights and Ultimate Blue Eyes with an axe of despair and a book of moon while Suzu has a single negate attack is kind of hilarious.
I’d love to see you guys do a what if battle between Bones and Bandit Keith. I always wanted to see him challenge him to a duel in a redemption arc. Bones could have a revamped deck as well as Bandit Keith.

Talk about a blast from the past! Haven't seen the Pyramid of Light since the movie. Other boss monsters from the movie that are pretty hard to summon are the Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon and the Sorcerer of Dark Magic. Can't wait to see what other epic duels you both have in store for us! 😁

Personally, I'd like to see both an old fashioned version and a modern version of all of these boss battles.
Actually, a boss monster face of I think may be interesting could be a battle of mid rank fusion upgrades to ace monsters- Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon vs. The Dark Magicians. Granted, I've been out of the game for years so I'm not sure if that's actually balanced.

so for another idea for a boss battle i was looking up dark counter parts and want them to be even in attack, and there summoning conditions are somewhat easy, but there effects start when there first summon to destroy 1 card on the field so the monsters are Dark Armed Dragon Vs Dark Voltanis
I think both decks should be from the era of the most advanced boss monster. So you both play with the same pool of cards, but it is not something supernew. Also, as an idea, Divine Serpent Geh vs Timaeus Knight of Destiny

Kite (Susu/Galaxy Eyes Prime Photon Dragon) vs. Mizarr (JenJen/Neo Galaxy Eyes Tachyon Dragon) from the XYZ series for a regular battle. But for the impossible/boss battle, i'd be down to see a recreation of Yugi (Susu/Timaues, Knight of Destiny) vs. Dartz (JenJen/Divine Serpent Geh) from the DM series. Two battles I think would be pretty interesting, and one is more modern to scratch that itch you guys were looking for.

Just adding my two cents that there's no need to change the decks. This is part of the appeal. Old yu-gi-oh is soo much better so much more epic. This makes the series awesome!
If you're still doing character duels I will again suggest Duke vs Tristan, the battle for Serenity's heart. Also someone suggested Tea vs Joey back in the day and since it still hasn't happened I shall add that in my list of suggestions too. :_

But why didnt you pair up the Sphinx with Shining blue eyes (the one where u have to tribute BEU)? That would ve been more fair and like in the movie^^
My Suggestion for a new Boss Battle is: Power Tool Dragon vs Ruddy Rose Dragon - The Twist here could be that both of these Monsters have "alternate Forms" (normal rose dragon and Power tool brave dragon that could also be considered Boss Monsters for winning - or not as you like)

How about a Waking the Dragon's Boss Battle? Divine Serpent Geh vs Timaeus the Knight of Destiny? A God battle could also be interesting: Egyptian vs Wicked.
I prefer the older cards, or at least in the same era, it just makes the summoning of the boss monsters so much more hype because that's literally what we all wanted to do (but rarely ever did) as kids!
I dont think Susu understood that he could've used Twister mid-battle phase to summon his Boss after attacking with the 2 sphinx's.

jen missed it but during the first duel she could have used her 2nd dragon mirror to get an 3rd dragon knight on the field instead and also have them have even more attack power due to more dragons still in the grave

Jinzo Vs Red eyes with current support, that would be a fun duel to watch tbh
I personally think using some modern cards would be fun too,
as long as it's not anything too generically powerful, like an engine that does much more than the thematic boss monster, that'd defeat the purpose of the series.
But it might be fun to be able to turbo out the boss monsters consistently fast, as long as it's done in moderation.
I also prefer fewer blowout cards and board breakers, cuz that feels a bit cheesy.
A gritty resource battle where both sides keep outing and keep recovering and resummoning more copies of the boss monster is probably a fun watch.
But either way, I love your new series, and looking forward to the next episodes.
I'll be happy with however you guys decide to do the duels.

I think using modern cards that add effects, but don't turbo out monsters could work. Like Neos Fusion is overkill, but Thunderforce Attack would be cool.
Just finished the DM anime and some duel with Holactie The Creator Of Light would be crazy.
I say if there are any extra deck monsters from those eras that can help (like synchros for today’s video), they could be fair game

I believe you make a good balance of old cards. The drawing cards as pot of greed seems a good balance, I thinks is great.
I still want to see a OP Chimeratech Overdragon faceoff, can get OP with older cards however I feel it could be interesting with newer gen cards too. so I would really love to see what both of you could do with an Overdragon
