Learn the Trick
Make sure you know every aspect of the trick. The instructions that come with the trick are just the start.
You can watch other performers for inspiration.
Practice
Practice the trick until you can do it without thinking about it. When you do that you can focus on presentation and your audience.
Keep Improving
When something goes well in a performance make a note of it so that you can include it future performances.
If there are things you need to improve or cut make a note of that too.
