Not people complaining about Shirou's state in this route. Is not like Fate Shirou didn't have the help to inprove himself the way the other 2 routes did. UBW Shirou got his magical crest improved thanks to Archer's help and later in their fight each time they clashed each other his magical circuits forcefully matured doe to clashing with his older self. That led him to get stronger. HF Shirou has Archer's arm, is a more dangerous way to inprove himself, but definitely lets him have even more power than his UBW self, the consequences of using the arm led him to become more sharp and smart in battle. Fate Shirou didn't have any of that, Archer's presence in this route is almost none so this Shirou didnt have the same help he did, just Archer's last advice, Saber's influence & training and his own undying will. Definitely, this Shirou is noticeably weaker in terms on power, but he still managed to survive the war with Saber's help and his own improvisation. Also, my man literally can perfectly project Caliburn and Avalon (thanks to his connection with Saber, a connection that the other 2 routes never explores) that alone is enough to praise him. Fate Shirou is the weakest Shirou, but he still is a goat. Just remember that even if they are different routes, all of them have continuity, so obviously Fate Shirou is the weakest (needs Saber's help to fight a Servant), UBW is stronger (is strong enough to fight Archer and a pride blinded Gilgamesh) and HF was the strongest (in a chaotic and self-harming way, but he is strong enough to fight and defeat Berserker and Saber). The moment this fandom realizes that each rotue builds up the following one and all of them depend of each other for their message is the moment this fandom stops this useless fight to see which route is superior, all of them are good, all of them compensate each other. Fate goes hard with world building an a great part of the vocabulary and lore, it explores Shirou and Saber, both individually, romantically and their partnership. The other 2 routes play in a way that Shirou and Saber still have the closeness they got back in Fate route (minus the romantic part of course) but from the start, they don't waste time on them anymore since Fate route already dealt with all of that. UBW repairs more on Shirou's ideals following what Fate route already developed of him and the Servants feelings, it plays with the elements that Fate route already introduced. HF introduces and resolve the final mysteries of the series and develop the remainig characters. By itself is a good route, but what makes it so goated is all the influece that we (the readers) already had from the previous routes, it just needs to play with that, and it DID in the best way possible. Each Shirou fought with the conditions he got during each route and developed in the ways said route needed him to develop. Instead of useless fight for which route is the best, is better just to appreciate what each route introduced
Fate route Shirou is the one who has the most Magic Circuits among 3 route. Like any other organ, the number of Magic Circuits that one possesses is determined at birth and cannot decrease or increase naturally. Due to Shirou were never properly taught Magecraft by Kiritsugu, Shirou believed that he had to “make” a new Circuit every time he wanted to perform Magecraft. It damages his body every time he uses Magic, but his Magic Energy Capacity will grow stronger every time he use Magic. Due to his connection with Saber, he can gain the full effect of Avalon's immortality. The amount of Magic Circuits Shirou was able to create with Avalon's immortality is limitless. Fate Shirou is the only that trascend his own death. While UBW and HF Shirou are dead (by old age), Fate Shirou is in Avalon training with his waifu, getting more and more stronger... Also, before his death, he learned projection, all about his UBW, etc, like Archer did.

It's like lighting your arm on fire just so you could create a light inside a dark tunnel when you already have a torch in your in hand waiting to be used. In terms of circuit number, Fate Shirou actually has got less than UBW and HF Shirou by the end because in the new canon established by the Realta Nua release, he had to give up a part of his magical circuits to Saber in order to power her up for the final fight against Berserker. Doing so would have gimped his natural ability as a mage, but Shirou didn't mind it. Second, Avalon was only active when Shirou was found by Kiritsugu during after the Fuyuki Fire wherein he used its remaining energy to save Shirou's life. After that, it went dormant because Avalon CANNOT function at all without Saber's presence. It only awakened once more when the 5th Fuyuki Grail War began wherein the link between it and Saber was re-established due to Shirou's being chosen as a Master by the grail. On that note, though he managed to project a perfect copy of it by the end of the Fate Route, it's stated in lore that Fate-Shirou cannot actually use his copy of Avalon anymore either as the image of it was lost once Saber disappeared once more.
idc if hes the weakest, the dude can project avalon perfectly and thats already impressive. A literall super shield that transports you to another world isolating you from any type of damage while providing intense passive regen. Thats broken, and with shirou's ubw is just cherry on top.
Saber's Excalibur is based off her mana, she didn't have enough Mana to be A+ rank at that moment. Meanwhile the Caliburn projected by Shirou was at it's full strength.
What don't you understand? Excalibur is based off Saber's Mana. It can reach up to rank A++. During her fight with Berserker, Saber didn't have enough Mana to properly use Excalibur. Shirou projects Calibur in it's original state which is A+.
Shaifs Shirou projection ability will degraded any weapon rank by 1.So if Caliburn sword is A+,the projection will be like A or B rank. I cannot understand how a projected weapon deal 7 kill while Excalibur original A+ Sword (although it is weakened) and a Rank A Caladbolg 2 only kill berserker 2 times.

under normal circumstances he would not be as skillful as he is with the weapon when he projects it, the way his tracing/projection works is that he creates not only the weapon but also the history behind it, meaning that when he projects the weapon, he will magically know how the weapon is used and therefore copy the style of fighting that the original wielder did with the swords. The only exception to this rule is Kanshou and Bakuya, they don't have wielders who wield it therefore EMIYA Archer and Shirou use their own style
Ferrick well knowing how to wield a weapon is different of mastering it's wielding and having gained muscle memory trough training, wich is rather hard but is a keypart of any good swordsman:muscle memory.
While Kanshou and Bakuya do not have wielders they do have a special property from it's conception. They are twin swords that can not be separated. Archer actually makes uses of this property in his fighting style, like how he threw his sword at Caster so that it would hit Caster from the back.

And even with excalibur in his hand, he cannot do nothing, because he probabbly is death already or vegetable. Poor Shirou. Too many power ups that kill him.

don't think he can trace excalibur because it is a divine construct and tracing it will use too much mana that it can kill him. but he can trace a cheap copy of excalibur though, like kuro in Fate/kaleid, which is no match for the real excalibur. the version of shirou you refer to is the shirou from fate/kaleid's miyuverse. he was thought magecraft by kiritsugu, incorporated archer's powers into him, fought and won the holy grail war against servants
The thing is that with enough luck and if things happen in a specific way, there is definitely a chance for a timeline where Shirou is the strongest Magus alive.
As much as I would love to see the True Ending animated, Uftoable has fucked up poor Shirou enough. Sometimes dreams are better off if they're left as dreams.
I really hope this route gets remade. I know it is unlikely but as all fans of Fate route should know, waiting endlesly is already half of what's needed for a miracle to occure.
I mean, Shirou's body with Muranasa's knowledge was able to create a god damn anti world demon sword....replicating Anti Army or Anti Fortress NPs shoudln't be too hard for a Counter Guardian who has been in uncountable amounts of battles since he is in an infinite loop.
@@syedshakaibanwar2698 From what i know, shirou or archer body contains a huge amount of mana. That's answer the question of why he could replicate (trace) many weapon. But, trace/replicate spell is one of the most difficult magic in fate universe. So, it's all about experience. Like what you just said, as a counter guardian archer have gone through so many battles and have more than enough skills and experience to maximize his trace spell.
@@fakhrias-shiddiqy4633 Shirou never had a lot of mana, he has like, 10x less mana than Rin, that is one of the reasons why he sought help from Alaya to gain the mana and power necessary to become efficient at trace.

The original show just has so much more emotion put into it, rather than going for pretty looks. I hope they never remake it and bury the history. Thank you to the dude in the comments of a fate guide that said to just start with this show instead of any watch order.

Apolo Abel well it's up to wielding in that context, and you cn clearly see that shirou is having a hard time wielding caliburn. while on the other hand kanshou and bakuya have been stated to be a natural fit to shirou's fighting style, and the dude can use thoses shaortblades more efficiently than caliburn. so really regarding that matter UBW shirou with his K&B wins.
Also the whole point of the heavens feel route is that when drawing from archers arm shirou's mind completely breaks into crumbs the moment he uses it also shirou could barely use 9 lives blade works. So the likelyhood of caliburn being used as a broken phantasm while archer or shirou uses k and b in that state is unlikely at best. And he does not have UBW his main weapon. In prisma illya shirou is slowly being taken over by archer physically as well as mentally sso even though he is breaking the cost of him anchoring himself via a card and his current self as a catalyst gives him the ability to create divine constructs even if they are hollow and cast UBW also his body seemed to use 9 lives blade works without completely falling apart probably that he is using archers abilities which are way beyond his own, similar to UBW shirou uf he had to use archers full powers for 7 continuous battles and unlimited mana and it is damaging his body and psyche. Also Caliburn is the sword of the king the reason saber had to help him was that it would be similar to mordreds clarent where it does not work as intended as tjey are not kings or worthy. It maybe that UBW gives him the ability to use the sword as like hold it, without it immediately starts stabbing itself into the ground but it wont function properly. Whereas Archer litterally created a technique that he calls unblockable unless you have a ability like the ainsworths from 3wrei!!. This is because he finds there meaning and craftsmanship great for his CQC style. So i would say that no i think caliburn is a dreadful choice of weapon to trace

@@angelcortes3485 Whenever Shirou projects a weapon that weapon has a complete mana level, and can be instantly used. In this scene Saber had so little mana that using an Extremely Weak Excalibur would have completely drained her to death, this was B Ranked. If Shirou protects a Caliburn then gives it to Saber, or a worthy king. They can then use the full power of the sword, Shirou has trouble using it here because of the fact its a sword to 'select the king' like Gilgamesh's Original. This could be related to the fact he has not fully understood ubw as it should make him able to use any weapon traced, but he has problems using it as a actual np.
Don't feel too bad. She gets to spend her remaining years being spoiled by Shirou and the Fujimura family. A much better future than what she gets in either UBW and HF.
Fate!Shirou scales above HF!Shirou in speed/reflexes because here he was able to dodge 2 of Berserker's attacks with room to spare here while he was completely unable to dodge a weakened Berserker's attack in HF
Caliburn from a technical standpoint is a stronger blade. As a Noble Phantasm however not so much... But that's more on the wielder rather than the actual blade.
Excalibur was held back because she couldn't use it to it's full power, caliburn on the other hand was used and was able to strike Berserker in the right spot at the right moment which was why it took multiple lives
excalibur is stronger but its light would fade before it could kill the 8 lives needed caliburn stays in existence for long enough to kill him enough times
In the VN. He didn't evade the attacks. He blocked the attacks due to Caliburn basically assuming control of it's movements until he regained stable footing. Then when he came back to control. He immediately got trashed and sent flying backwards.
Since Shirou also traces the experience and history of the weapon, Caliburn kinda went auto-pilot mode in this fight, same when he projected Kanshou and Bakuya against Kuzuki.

Shirou used three times to order .1 to summon arturia in the school against rider.2 to stop arturia against berserker. and 3 to destroy the grail. I think it was unnecessary to spend command spell to stop Arturia against Berserker unnecessarily. If Shirou went ahead creating the sword Excalibur maybe in the end after destroying the Holy Grail he had one last spell left to agree on a new contract so that Arturia can be with he.
Not stopping Saber from using her noble phantasm on Berserker leads to a bad end where Excalibur deals no damage to Heracles because Saber had miniscule amounts of magical energy at the time.

No. If you watch closely it's Caliburn. These two swords are visually different from each other (especially the guard and the lower part of the blade). Shirou did everything right here.
Ehh, this is the sword in the stone Caliburn, the one that Saber uses normally is the stronger Excalibur (It just happens that it is way more costly than what Shirou or Saber can afford at that time).

Also he did all of that in a short span of 1 night while he had the infinite mana of Miyu.

Caliburn is a rank B weapon, but if used by Saber it's an A+ weapon. Shirou could hurt Berserker cuz he was copying Saber's history, so when he attacks it's like Saber is attacking, so it's A+. Then Saber helps him and say it's true name and that way Herackes is killed repeatedly.
True but DEEN was trying to adapt the VN into anime litterally (although they added some liberties with the story) like they kept Shirous inner monologues which are the main building blocks of his character development tbh. This creates a more accurate anime but its less fliud and more inconsistent with pacing and budget due to the overstretching of scenes that need to be animated. Ufotable are taking the Fate VN and converting it into more acceptable and standarf anime whilst maintaining an extreme level of quality and story telling even if that means a 1hr exposition dump that tells you about fate/ and its convoluted magic and grail system. For example in the Zero Source material Waver almost came at the size and thought of Iskandar's dignity and Kariya pissed himself during the pain of having the crest worms implanted in him.

Well if it ever happens it will have a new script since the author is not satisfied with its execution, this part will probably have a different way of doing it or something of the like.
It's just release times that are different, it seems when this anime was released its fights and animations were considered top class. It was very popular at those times.
The others are far more instinctive and physical when it comes to his powers, but Fate Route Shirou is the one with more raw knowledge about his magecraft and is far more aclimatized to his own skills and how to use them properly, the others rely on their understanding about what gives origin to his abilities and the help they can gather to reach victory, but that's fine since it's kinda the point that he reaches different outcomes so it's natural he becomes proficient with his magecraft in different ways
But this Shirou at the very end of his life, ends up being the strongest. He keeps walking even more than Archer and UBWShirou. Also, Rin will never let her Shirou do something dangerous. Fate Shirou is alone. He can fight, can train, can save people, can become black skinned because nobody will be here to stop him for overuse his powers. I'm pretty sure that old man Fate Shirou can curbstomp old man UBW Shirou (without Rin helping him with her prana).

This is from Fate/Stay Night from 2006, I think around episode 14/15, the video quality is kind of bad because of the uploader, it wasn't this bad on the anime.

Its also the anime that made Type-Moon gain more popularity as more Japanese viewers started getting into the franchise and the VN game after it finished airing on the television, it was also popular for the emotional ending of the last episode where it left all the viewers a ‘scar’ in their hearts after Saber parted ways with Shirou, thats why Type-Moon even gave the fans a true ending to Sabers route in the VN after the sad ending. And yeah 2006 audience was way different especially in Japan we didn’t really watch shows in high quality animations or 1080p or 4K (even now at times), so Fate stay nights animations were considered well done for 2006 audience. You could even call it one of Studio Deens successful work to introduce a not well known VN. I also enjoyed this show very much back then, it was like an adventure with the mysterious, classic and calm atmosphere and the music done by Kawai Kenji was very top class.

Is not like Fate Shirou didn't have the help to inprove himself the way the other 2 routes did.
UBW Shirou got his magical crest improved thanks to Archer's help and later in their fight each time they clashed each other his magical circuits forcefully matured doe to clashing with his older self. That led him to get stronger.
HF Shirou has Archer's arm, is a more dangerous way to inprove himself, but definitely lets him have even more power than his UBW self, the consequences of using the arm led him to become more sharp and smart in battle.
Fate Shirou didn't have any of that, Archer's presence in this route is almost none so this Shirou didnt have the same help he did, just Archer's last advice, Saber's influence & training and his own undying will. Definitely, this Shirou is noticeably weaker in terms on power, but he still managed to survive the war with Saber's help and his own improvisation. Also, my man literally can perfectly project Caliburn and Avalon (thanks to his connection with Saber, a connection that the other 2 routes never explores) that alone is enough to praise him.
Fate Shirou is the weakest Shirou, but he still is a goat.
Just remember that even if they are different routes, all of them have continuity, so obviously Fate Shirou is the weakest (needs Saber's help to fight a Servant), UBW is stronger (is strong enough to fight Archer and a pride blinded Gilgamesh) and HF was the strongest (in a chaotic and self-harming way, but he is strong enough to fight and defeat Berserker and Saber).
The moment this fandom realizes that each rotue builds up the following one and all of them depend of each other for their message is the moment this fandom stops this useless fight to see which route is superior, all of them are good, all of them compensate each other.
Fate goes hard with world building an a great part of the vocabulary and lore, it explores Shirou and Saber, both individually, romantically and their partnership. The other 2 routes play in a way that Shirou and Saber still have the closeness they got back in Fate route (minus the romantic part of course) but from the start, they don't waste time on them anymore since Fate route already dealt with all of that.
UBW repairs more on Shirou's ideals following what Fate route already developed of him and the Servants feelings, it plays with the elements that Fate route already introduced.
HF introduces and resolve the final mysteries of the series and develop the remainig characters. By itself is a good route, but what makes it so goated is all the influece that we (the readers) already had from the previous routes, it just needs to play with that, and it DID in the best way possible.
Each Shirou fought with the conditions he got during each route and developed in the ways said route needed him to develop.
Instead of useless fight for which route is the best, is better just to appreciate what each route introduced
Fate route Shirou is the one who has the most Magic Circuits among 3 route.
Like any other organ, the number of Magic Circuits that one possesses is determined at birth and cannot decrease or increase naturally.
Due to Shirou were never properly taught Magecraft by Kiritsugu, Shirou believed that he had to “make” a new Circuit every time he wanted to perform Magecraft.
It damages his body every time he uses Magic, but his Magic Energy Capacity will grow stronger every time he use Magic.
Due to his connection with Saber, he can gain the full effect of Avalon's immortality.
The amount of Magic Circuits Shirou was able to create with Avalon's immortality is limitless.
Avalon revives him by completely healing him seconds before he is about to die, due to the injuries done by himself creating New Magic Circuit.

That is completely false. Shirou isn't creating shit with the method Kiritsugu taught him, he just thinks he is. In reality, he's just using his body's physical nerves as a poor substitute for his actual magical circuits. It's like lighting your arm on fire just so you could create a light inside a dark tunnel when you already have a torch in your in hand waiting to be used. In terms of circuit number, Fate Shirou actually has got less than UBW and HF Shirou by the end because in the new canon established by the Realta Nua release, he had to give up a part of his magical circuits to Saber in order to power her up for the final fight against Berserker. Doing so would have gimped his natural ability as a mage, but Shirou didn't mind it.
Second, Avalon was only active when Shirou was found by Kiritsugu during after the Fuyuki Fire wherein he used its remaining energy to save Shirou's life. After that, it went dormant because Avalon CANNOT function at all without Saber's presence. It only awakened once more when the 5th Fuyuki Grail War began wherein the link between it and Saber was re-established due to Shirou's being chosen as a Master by the grail. On that note, though he managed to project a perfect copy of it by the end of the Fate Route, it's stated in lore that Fate-Shirou cannot actually use his copy of Avalon anymore either as the image of it was lost once Saber disappeared once more.
idc if hes the weakest, the dude can project avalon perfectly and thats already impressive. A literall super shield that transports you to another world isolating you from any type of damage while providing intense passive regen. Thats broken, and with shirou's ubw is just cherry on top.

Saber's Excalibur is based off her mana, she didn't have enough Mana to be A+ rank at that moment. Meanwhile the Caliburn projected by Shirou was at it's full strength.

Excalibur is based off Saber's Mana. It can reach up to rank A++. During her fight with Berserker, Saber didn't have enough Mana to properly use Excalibur.
Shirou projects Calibur in it's original state which is A+.
Shaifs Shirou projection ability will degraded any weapon rank by 1.So if Caliburn sword is A+,the projection will be like A or B rank.
I cannot understand how a projected weapon deal 7 kill while Excalibur original A+ Sword (although it is weakened) and a Rank A Caladbolg 2 only kill berserker 2 times.

If Shirou gets the original version of one of the swords stored in UBW, can he use it with the same skillfull that the copy?
under normal circumstances he would not be as skillful as he is with the weapon when he projects it, the way his tracing/projection works is that he creates not only the weapon but also the history behind it, meaning that when he projects the weapon, he will magically know how the weapon is used and therefore copy the style of fighting that the original wielder did with the swords. The only exception to this rule is Kanshou and Bakuya, they don't have wielders who wield it therefore EMIYA Archer and Shirou use their own style
Ferrick well knowing how to wield a weapon is different of mastering it's wielding and having gained muscle memory trough training, wich is rather hard but is a keypart of any good swordsman:muscle memory.
While Kanshou and Bakuya do not have wielders they do have a special property from it's conception. They are twin swords that can not be separated. Archer actually makes uses of this property in his fighting style, like how he threw his sword at Caster so that it would hit Caster from the back.

Yes, Ea cannot dammage him, due to Avalon activated (and assuming that Saber is watching the fight near from Shirou), but Shirou can even move? And even with excalibur in his hand, he cannot do nothing, because he probabbly is death already or vegetable.

don't think he can trace excalibur because it is a divine construct and tracing it will use too much mana that it can kill him. but he can trace a cheap copy of excalibur though, like kuro in Fate/kaleid, which is no match for the real excalibur. the version of shirou you refer to is the shirou from fate/kaleid's miyuverse. he was thought magecraft by kiritsugu, incorporated archer's powers into him, fought and won the holy grail war against servants

The thing is that with enough luck and if things happen in a specific way, there is definitely a chance for a timeline where Shirou is the strongest Magus alive.

But, trace/replicate spell is one of the most difficult magic in fate universe. So, it's all about experience. Like what you just said, as a counter guardian archer have gone through so many battles and have more than enough skills and experience to maximize his trace spell.

Can Caliburn Shirou match K&B Shirou? And what can happen if both o them has the archer's arm implanted (assuming that Archer can project Caliburn).
Apolo Abel well it's up to wielding in that context, and you cn clearly see that shirou is having a hard time wielding caliburn. while on the other hand kanshou and bakuya have been stated to be a natural fit to shirou's fighting style, and the dude can use thoses shaortblades more efficiently than caliburn. so really regarding that matter UBW shirou with his K&B wins.
Also the whole point of the heavens feel route is that when drawing from archers arm shirou's mind completely breaks into crumbs the moment he uses it also shirou could barely use 9 lives blade works. So the likelyhood of caliburn being used as a broken phantasm while archer or shirou uses k and b in that state is unlikely at best. And he does not have UBW his main weapon.
In prisma illya shirou is slowly being taken over by archer physically as well as mentally sso even though he is breaking the cost of him anchoring himself via a card and his current self as a catalyst gives him the ability to create divine constructs even if they are hollow and cast UBW also his body seemed to use 9 lives blade works without completely falling apart probably that he is using archers abilities which are way beyond his own, similar to UBW shirou uf he had to use archers full powers for 7 continuous battles and unlimited mana and it is damaging his body and psyche.
Also Caliburn is the sword of the king the reason saber had to help him was that it would be similar to mordreds clarent where it does not work as intended as tjey are not kings or worthy. It maybe that UBW gives him the ability to use the sword as like hold it, without it immediately starts stabbing itself into the ground but it wont function properly. Whereas Archer litterally created a technique that he calls unblockable unless you have a ability like the ainsworths from 3wrei!!. This is because he finds there meaning and craftsmanship great for his CQC style. So i would say that no i think caliburn is a dreadful choice of weapon to trace

@@angelcortes3485 Whenever Shirou projects a weapon that weapon has a complete mana level, and can be instantly used. In this scene Saber had so little mana that using an Extremely Weak Excalibur would have completely drained her to death, this was B Ranked.
If Shirou protects a Caliburn then gives it to Saber, or a worthy king. They can then use the full power of the sword, Shirou has trouble using it here because of the fact its a sword to 'select the king' like Gilgamesh's Original. This could be related to the fact he has not fully understood ubw as it should make him able to use any weapon traced, but he has problems using it as a actual np.

Even if Kirei is not in full condition, he's still a beast.
In the VN. He didn't evade the attacks. He blocked the attacks due to Caliburn basically assuming control of it's movements until he regained stable footing. Then when he came back to control. He immediately got trashed and sent flying backwards.
Since Shirou also traces the experience and history of the weapon, Caliburn kinda went auto-pilot mode in this fight, same when he projected Kanshou and Bakuya against Kuzuki.

Shirou used three times to order .1 to summon arturia in the school against rider.2 to stop arturia against berserker. and 3 to destroy the grail. I think it was unnecessary to spend command spell to stop Arturia against Berserker unnecessarily. If Shirou went ahead creating the sword Excalibur maybe in the end after destroying the Holy Grail he had one last spell left to agree on a new contract so that Arturia can be with he.
Not stopping Saber from using her noble phantasm on Berserker leads to a bad end where Excalibur deals no damage to Heracles because Saber had miniscule amounts of magical energy at the time.

No. If you watch closely it's Caliburn. These two swords are visually different from each other (especially the guard and the lower part of the blade). Shirou did everything right here.

Caliburn is a rank B weapon, but if used by Saber it's an A+ weapon. Shirou could hurt Berserker cuz he was copying Saber's history, so when he attacks it's like Saber is attacking, so it's A+. Then Saber helps him and say it's true name and that way Herackes is killed repeatedly.

True but DEEN was trying to adapt the VN into anime litterally (although they added some liberties with the story) like they kept Shirous inner monologues which are the main building blocks of his character development tbh. This creates a more accurate anime but its less fliud and more inconsistent with pacing and budget due to the overstretching of scenes that need to be animated.
Ufotable are taking the Fate VN and converting it into more acceptable and standarf anime whilst maintaining an extreme level of quality and story telling even if that means a 1hr exposition dump that tells you about fate/ and its convoluted magic and grail system.
For example in the Zero Source material Waver almost came at the size and thought of Iskandar's dignity and Kariya pissed himself during the pain of having the crest worms implanted in him.

The others are far more instinctive and physical when it comes to his powers, but Fate Route Shirou is the one with more raw knowledge about his magecraft and is far more aclimatized to his own skills and how to use them properly, the others rely on their understanding about what gives origin to his abilities and the help they can gather to reach victory, but that's fine since it's kinda the point that he reaches different outcomes so it's natural he becomes proficient with his magecraft in different ways
But this Shirou at the very end of his life, ends up being the strongest.

Also, Rin will never let her Shirou do something dangerous.

This is from Fate/Stay Night from 2006, I think around episode 14/15, the video quality is kind of bad because of the uploader, it wasn't this bad on the anime.
It was from 2006, at that time it's fight animations were considered top class. Fate zero was in 2011 btw.
@@saivamshi7091 True, it was very popular in Japan when it released and sold very well (Even I bought the DVD). Its also the anime that made Type-Moon gain more popularity as more Japanese viewers started getting into the franchise and the VN game after it finished airing on the television, it was also popular for the emotional ending of the last episode where it left all the viewers a ‘scar’ in their hearts after Saber parted ways with Shirou, thats why Type-Moon even gave the fans a true ending to Sabers route in the VN after the sad ending. And yeah 2006 audience was way different especially in Japan we didn’t really watch shows in high quality animations or 1080p or 4K (even now at times), so Fate stay nights animations were considered well done for 2006 audience. You could even call it one of Studio Deens successful work to introduce a not well known VN. I also enjoyed this show very much back then, it was like an adventure with the mysterious, classic and calm atmosphere and the music done by Kawai Kenji was very top class.
