A really nice, easy flowing interview. DawnMichelle s naturally comfortable in front of the camera and very grounded in her practice. One of her recent videos was about burnout and I found that “normalizing” those emotions. Her journals are so organized and beautiful, but I too don’t have that depth in me. As you mentioned, writing helps me, so I do keep a daily journal (I tried using stickers and ink pad stamps, but they don’t match my decks so, I lost interest in that too). I'm with Dawn regarding favorite deck. Witches Tarot by Ellen Dugan is the first tarot deck that really clicked for me, and it's the one I know best. I reach for it when I can't deal with searching for messages. My favorite changes depending on what I need in the moment. My journaling is more note-taking or creative writing about cards and concepts. The most fancy things I do are adding a printed picture for reference and maybe using elementally colored pens.
I'm so glad you found a deck that truly "clicked" with you. It make a huge difference in connecting with the tarot. I tried an elements journal and it was a bust. I did a video on it; it was sad hahahahaha
I loved this video so much, especially the way the two of you spoke about passing the baton over with the Facebook page. I think that Dawn has made herself very clear about wanting to do other things and move forward. I think that the way that she passed on the Facebook page, especially to you. Benny was so fortuitous for all of us that were already in that community.. Benny your enthusiasm for not only Tarrow, but Oracle decks and the community another great video love it Benny.
