I suspect this song was originally supposed to be on the second part of 4:13 Dream when it going to be a double album. Here’s hoping they include it on their next album.

I myself have often tried to relate to personal friends of my younger years , how great this band The Cure was. That was shit, 79..early 80's....anyways I'd tell them..you guys need to check out this band. This dude has got such a whiney voice along with a progressive melodic supportive sound , its hair raising. Grips and eats at my soul listenimg as this guy sings , he exposes his soul . As I say this tonight...I believe he does this band thing, song writing gig as it has evolved and became. I bet he had a journal to jot down his emotions..because he needed to get it out . ( from within himself ) started out as self theropy and has evolved into one of the greatest bands of all time, The Cure.

This is still the most painful song for me to listen to. It was after I got out of a mental hospital and I was diagnosed with bipolar. But shortly before that I lost everything all at once: girlfriend, job, my apartment, friends all because I was acting like an arrogant lunatic due to my disorder.

it's really a shame they never had that in their setlist on their 2022 tour! Undoubtedly the best of the new songs, next to "the end"! What.....new? It's already 6 years old again. Everyone hopes that he still made it onto the upcoming album (when finally???). It's still not released as a studio version.

It makes me think about my dad who has passed away on the latest 5th of July...we have always loved The Cure, we have gone to their gigs here in italy and both we were waiting for the new album...it can never be the same...never....I miss you so much dad...
It will be a total shame if this song is never properly put on record.
I wish they would have made it as a single only available at the Merch booth during the 2016 tour & put Step Into The Light as a b-side.

I think this song shows some real potential. His melody is nice and the guitar and groove is really nice. The production and recording team just has to be right. It hasn’t been for the past two albums! I believe in The Cure! Please Robert pick the right team. We all want this 2019 album to succeed!

I always feel bad for security, they miss out facing the opposite way. Especially with The Cure, the one single band in all of human history who has never sucked and been around for decades.
