  • Don't get caught on another post rainy day ride without a Mudguard.
    See how easy it is to install a mudguard/front fender on your MTB. The boys and I had a blast making this video and also took the opportunity to install one on my 2020 Giant Stance.
    A good Mudguard cost about $15, so safe yourself the trouble of getting splattered in the face.
    Enjoy!!!

    Here's a pro tip
    Instead of using side cutters for the zip ties try a pair of toe nail clippers. The mechanic who showed me this is an ass but the tool works great

    How effective are these mudguards, the look kinda small or are they big enough?

    • @SOCALMTBAdventures
      @SOCALMTBAdventures  Před rokem +1

      They’re decent.. as we ride we sometimes hear dirt/rocks hitting off of it so it does help a bit. But not 100%..
      It’s also a cheap upgrade that gives your bike a sort of cooler look 👀 😁

    • @SOCALMTBAdventures
      @SOCALMTBAdventures  Před měsícem

      @@yesrespectfully856 Yeah, the fenders are pretty standard.. now there is some newer more high-end forks that have built in fender attachments and those require specific fenders only. If you’re like us the any old fender will do. Check out the Trail One Components fender it looks good and come with and extra extension for a little more protection from the front of the fork.. that should help keep rocks from hitting your face 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
