This was so explanatory, thank you, I used to mask the areas I did not want recorded so this made more sense, yes I know, blonde lol but alas, thank goodness for videos like yours, I just need to learn about the ptz, ai, face and plate detection etc as I have all those fancy things and no idea how to use. I FINALLY got it working on my phone after 10 months too.
Thank you this was very informative. I'm looking at purchasing an 8 channel XVR, however on the datasheet under recording it lists the frame rate as only 1-7fps across most resolutions. Surely this can't be? Is that only for live view, cause what useful info can one get from sub 7fps? Am I missing something? :-)
Hi great help . How do disarm motion detection to stop it Im new to using this so it will be a great help to try it then take back off when needed . i have it on now so its recording everytime someone walks past the area Thanks
Hi, I have the same recorder, but I struggle with sensitivity and threshold. If I apply threshold to 5, I will not be registered as a person. If I set it to 0 everything will be recorded. That's why I have problems with flies activating the camera. I don't live in a busy area. So what do you suggest? Thank you in advance.
Thank you for your great videos, very thorough and straight to the point ,it helped me to set up my Dahua NVR.
Keep up your great work👍👍👍

Thanks for the detailed information, it helped me a lot to properly set the motion detection.
Glad it helped!

Glad it was helpful!
Your the best keep making videos
Thanks! Will do!
Even a grandma with a life experience of only knitting will be able to do this
Great video and very informative. Can you explain the purpose of the 3 other regions (yellow, blue & green) when selecting areas for motion detector.
Yes I can. You can set up different motion zones with different settings. They are color coded to help you keep track.
thank you
