Thank you for this video. I love kitchens that add colors. I am in love with the muted grey/green kitchens. It is so nice to see something other than white.

I am really struggling with this. Tight budget seems to mean that my best color choice is white cabinets, but don't like the stark, all white look. It's a great room in a medium sized duplex and I have very little color or design sense.

You can always bring in color from the accents and accessories to the kitchen. Not exactly the same, but can help on the budget side.

What are your thoughts about brushed gold taps and handles in the kitchen. It is a predominantly white kitchen that faces black framed windows. My other question is pairing that with either a stainless or gunmetal coloured drop in sink? I thought the brushed gold sink was ‘too much’. But maybe it’s not. Last point is, I have already renovated a bathroom (which is a fair way away from the kitchen) where I put matte black taps so maybe I should just stick with that now?
Anyway, any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kathy- I quite like brushed gold accents in the right kitchen. A sink would be too much though (in my opinion). Don’t worry too much about continuity to your bathroom taps. Overall style is more important (staying in the same aesthetic for continuity, instead of colour). Finally, mixing metals is a great option as long as the style works together.
