Well, out of all the rainwear on the internet, this was the one with the best ratings in terms of durability and efficiency to keep me dry. I’m from Costa Rica, where we have 7 months of rain in a tropical country, and the impacts from ‘La Niña phenomenon’ are on another level… I hope the hard test it’s going to undergo is successful for this gear.

One year on; is the jacket still waterproof and has the high vis stayed strong or is it fading?
Still in my same jacket and pants. Have worn it form CA to SD, from San Diego to San Fransisco, all around the Southwest and all up the East Coast Florida to Virgina. Still looking great and keeping my dry! - Kyle

Hello Chris! Yes, they are sized to fit OVER your armored riding gear. In this video I am l wearing a Large top and bottom over my KLIM Carlsbad Jacket and Pants. I actually sized down the jacket to a Medium when wearing my KLIM Baja S4 jacket. Check this out: czcams.com/video/h47MgNp7ytw/video.html You can see the fit differences in the two jackets. I am 5' 9" and 220 lbs.

What is PU Backing?
PU backing is a polyurethane coating. PU coated fabrics are mainly used in outdoor clothing and military industries,and are characterized by moisture permeability,wear resistance,wind resistance, and softness.

What is the liner in the pants? Is it the mesh type or a smooth solid liner? My boots always get hung up on the mesh type lining.
The pants are not lined. As the rider is typically already wearing a pant, we did not see the liner as necessary.
