Ok that was a fantastic review. I feel like I waste a lot of time wading through reviews that don’t ever get to the essence of the particular piece of gear. I think you do a great job of showcasing the pedal’s core sound and what it can do. GREAT playing as well. ...plus, I come from a Dutch family...so that makes me love it more lol! Just subscribed. Thanks again.
Bonjour.Enfin! J'ai tellement perdu de temps avec toutes les pseudo-stars de CZcams ! Votre talent allie bon goût, simplicité, et une bonne oreille ! Thanks a lot!
Just subscribed. Man, these are some high quality demos. Keep up the great work. Agree with previous comments about importance of including SC and Humbucker clips generally, but otherwise excellent playing, great commentary, and killer sound; hard to believe that's coming from the line out of a solid state amp!
Really appreciate your complete review. You got almost all the permutations of the dials which is what I hoped to hear. Personally I've been seeking a low gain pedal that somebody like Larry Carlton might record with on my Fender Super Reverb Reissue Amplifier. I've gone through the three following pedals: (1) Friedman BE-OD Deluxe ($260), (2) Chase-Bliss Brothers ($350), and (3) Vemuram Rage E ($395). I enjoyed the sound of the Vemuram the most, but liked the flexibility of the Chase-Bliss but could not justify the price of either. Thanks again for your playing and your opinion on this Rowin LEF-315. Cheers!
For an od pedal this is suttle. Not too heavy woohoo. My kind of OD. I love mine, compressor or boost/clean give it even more 3dge if needed. Even works well on bass guitar.
I'm definitely going to buy one of these and a power adapter this coming week. I already own a BD-2 and a TS7 Tubescreamer, but having been researching the Dumble and pedals, recently, I wanted to try to nail a more low-gain or med. gain blues sound, and this seems like a good solution. My main amp is a Vox VX50 modeling amp, and I can get all sorts of sounds from it, but some good pedals help make it.
I ordered the ISet Dumbler mini-pedal from Amazon yesterday...$23.50 with tax and free delivery tomorrow w/Prime. Same pedal inside as Rowin Dumbler. Demo's indicate it has the tone I'm wanting from it...Dumble tone of not. I also have a couple boosts to drive it. Wish Klon , Spark Booster, or Barber Direct Drive set clean w/ no Comp.
@@pcollenyt3683 I got mine. It's a darned good deal. Well made and it sounds great. Definitely can get a nice crunch out of it, or low gain blues sound. Or even a punk crunch if you max the gain out.
Great, honest and direct review Dutch Dude! Do you all think this is a top Dumble effects pedal. I think it sounds great. What are some competing Dumbler pedals under $100?
This was done with the boss katana. I tried it with single coils too, but it sounds better with humbuckers. And especially in this video I want to get that robben Ford tone.
@@DutchGuitarDude Thank you very much for answering. I'm really going to use this with a lap steel I have that has humbuckers in it along with a Fender Blues Jr. I think this will give my the sound I'm looking for, or at least close, and for $30.00 American, can't lose. By the way, Robben Ford is one of my favorites! Thank You again! th
I can’t take anyone seriously with a tuner Clip on the headstock and you need to work on your soloing.. no sense for melody or time 😉 it’s just noodling.. but the Pedal sounds good, I would roll back the gain
@@DutchGuitarDude so why not here? On a video that can reach a lot of people? I would give my best, not only to give the pedal a good feature but to show that you are a musician that knows how to play.. 👍✌️

Thx so much brother. Spread the word. I hear so much people don't really hear what a pedal can do in other demos! Thx for subscribing

Thx so much for your support, means a lot. I will use sc and humbucker for next drive pedals, good point!
Always love you detailed reviews
Thanks so much!

bought this pedal based on this video!
Awesomely done DGDude...
Greetings from fellow Dutch Guitar lad
Dankjewel! 😊😉🇳🇱
Very good sound and ....playing of course !
I got two of them on my pedalboard, one with crunch settings, the other one for lead sounds. Like them a lot! Thanks for your review.
Thx for your nice comment. Pls subscribe!
How is it zero gain mode? Looking for a non-compressed tone.
Low gain sounds very good too. Cant recall if its really uncompressed
@@DutchGuitarDude I see. What pedal sounds like it at that mode haha?
Jan ray
Thanks for the volume control check. That sold me one of them.
thx for watching and please subscribe!
They might as well have called this pedal the Rowin Ford
Yeah it really captures his sound! Thx for watching and please subscribe!
sounds GREAT! Outstanding demo sir!
Thx so much friend!

Great demo, playing and sound! Just ordered one. :)
Nice, thank you for watching and pls subscribe
Yeah like to hear them through both les pauls and strats , sounds change so much between the two
I got the tomsline one - dumbler I think it's the exact same pedal yeah sounds great.
Yes I think they are from the same factory
I'm huge Robben Ford fan too. I think that pedal sounds surprisingly good. Definitely must buy one :) Thanks for review Eric :D
You are very welcome! Thx!
Great playing, nice demo !

To be honest under 100 dollars you're not going to find anything better
Parabéns pelo vídeo!
Esse pedal se aproxima bem do Zendrive?
Yes
You should do video with single coils as well
Good idea. Will that! Thx for watching and pls subscribe
You must try it with single pickups too...
Yeah maybe I should do a demo with single coils too!
Excellent review, thank you. What amp did you do this with and have you tried it with a single coil guitar?

@sbjkd yeah I have a very good fender clean patch on my katana, which I made. It's ideal for demoing pedals
Sounds great. I think you had the RF sound right around 4:45....
Thx. Yeah that sounds comes close. Thx for watching and subscribing!
Nice demo, do you prefer this pedal or the Rowin Blues pedal?
Definitely this one
@@DutchGuitarDude cool thanks a lot!
You said "use Fender style guitar for R Ford tone",
Question: would this pedal work well with Humbuckers ?
I didnt demo it, but it works great with humbuckers
@@DutchGuitarDude thank you
Are you using a mic on the Kat? Which one? Great pedal!!! Cheers :)
No mic. Rec out! Thx bud
I actually think its to bright for a robben ford Dumble sound...Robben should be dark and smooth..
ToneStackFX that can be adjusted in the voice knob. You maybe right a bit too bright
Sweet green strat
Thx!
Does this also have cab simulation or just straight amp signal
No cab sim
is dit apparaat hetzelfde als de mooer rumble drive ?
Volgens mij wel. Alleen goedkoper. Bedankt voor het kijken en abonneer je aub!
What colour is your statocaster?
the color is Sage Green. Fender didnt use that color much.
Your clean tone is pretty great already.... :.)
Thx bro. Pls subscribe I you want.
analog or simulator sir??🙏
This is totally analog!

He demonstrated the sound of the pedal well, and thats the point of this??? Not to play like SRV.
What's the problem?
Exactly, its a sound demo.... This guy doesnt know what the video is about

Yes I am!
